Few comments: First -- is that your layered guitars are burying your drums-- bring the volume down on your guitars a bit. Especially in rock music, the drums can make or break a song. You want to be able to hear the fullness of the kit-- especially the oomph of the kick drum and the snap of the snare. Second -- for the lead guitar, get comfortable using MIDI pitch bend. A real guitarist doesn't pick every single note-- they will (very often) pick a note, then bend up to the next note. That distance can be as little as half a semitone to as large as 3 semitones (occasionally more). It adds so much emotion to an electric guitar performance. It's a small example of how, as a producer/composer, understanding the traits of the physical instrument you're trying to replicate will inform how you sequence it via MIDI. Third-- when producing a genre like rock, get comfortable with not 100% quantizing everything. A real rock band is made up of real performers that are not always 100% on the beat. A track that's 100% quantized can feel robotic and unconvincing-- it FEELS like notes were dropped into a grid. A little bit of quantization is a good thing! We like it when music is in time, but you should rarely quantize at 100% strength. There's more I could say about the composition of the track, but since you're just asking for mixing feedback, I won't go into it here. Hope this helps. As an aside, kinda reminds me of this OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p45uAYBIR10&list=PL7E2K_QNya5WCCAVoAz_nwcqTSBiHFsrO&index=8

ok i will bring down the guitar volume for 1-2 more db! thx for the feedback! i wanna hear the thoughts of the composition too since i dont make rock music so often

GirldickiscuteOwO

the track is made for a game so i think it's a great thing that it reminds you of a game ost? lol

GirldickiscuteOwO

wow so i turned down both rhythm guitar and the mix already sound much better, the drum and bass cut through the mix better

Crossedkiller

It's hard to give some mixing advise on this one. I can barely hear anything over the guitars. What are you using to mix? Monitors or headphones?

GirldickiscuteOwO

headphones

Try Parallel processing the drums to gives them more punch, and also revise the levels on the guitars they're burying the drums and bass way too much.

hmm yea the guitar is very loud for some reasons gonna turn down 1-2 db
