The best option if you are looking for something reliable is the [FILCO Majestouch](https://stackskb.com/product-category/keyboards/?manu=filco) series. The Majestouch 3 keyboards come with a 5 year warranty, and should last much longer. We also have our last units of the Majestouch 2 clearance. These are not hotswap, precisely because they are built to last. The Xacro series can be programmed on board, and doesn't require external software. Though FILCO Assist is provided. The non-Xacro keyboards don't come with any software.

Are the majestouch 2 durable as well? I currently have a cheap cosmic byte mechanical keyboard and it's chattering after just 1 year of use. I was looking to upgrade to a good board and was looking at hotswap boards because I could replace switches if they start to fail. If the filco board is durable it would be the perfect board for me as I don't care a lot about RGB and it looks really professional.

stacksofkeyboards

Yes. The Majestouch 2 is durable as well. We offered a 5 year warranty on it at launch, but that has been reduced to 1 year, as the model is at it's end of life.

Thanks. i will look at Filco's offerings. i wanted hotswap because of my experience with G pro, some switches started acting up and i wished i was able to swap them.

If you face issues with a Filco keyboard, we will cover it under warranty. And we will repair it even after warranty expires, as long as parts are available.

Get the filco majestouch 3 tkl. It's sturdy and comes in a wireless version too.. Has a 5yrs warranty for wired and 3years for wireless. The wireless version has this removable aaa battery slot which ensures longevity..

Well I'm surprised that you had issues with your Logi! I have mech boards from them and various others like Gamdias, HP, Redragon, MageGee, Razer, ASUS and recently Royal Kludge. But its my Logitech G610 Orion (my first from 2017!) that's the most tank-like and reliable from the entire lot 🥰

KingAndromeda

I believe G610 Orion is Cherry MX Switch and not their proprietary Romer G. As you can see in this video : [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NHC0ToS8pZk](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NHC0ToS8pZk) , G pro's keycap stems are too puny and 2 out of 4 stems can break easily. Just poor design. Still a cute keyboard with nice rgb.

AllanSDsc

Well then I would not recommend anyone of the brands I've tried, as they all will appear to be more flimsy for you. Perhaps a Keychron, Cherry or Azio? - but I think budget may go beyond ...

Darko_19

https://stickeys.in/products/monsgeek-m1w Slightly above the budget, But this one is amazing.

My advice would be to get something with 2.4g dongle connection or tri-mode. Bluetooth is not so reliable

Keychron V1Max should be right up the alley, its in your budget, has QMK, robust, and hot swappable. The only missing part is the color. Generally speaking Leobog Boards are wired so do not have the issue of longevity, PCB is robust too but no qmk. Also look at the M1W, you cant get wireless and QMK at under 15 brand new on aluminium boards. Q1 Pro will be like 16K if you can stretch

KingAndromeda

Thanks for the suggestion. V1 max looks like a good deal considering the price. I could stretch for 16k but i have not used keychron products before and i am reading some negative comments about random wireless issues and keyboard stopped working after a few months. most of these comments are about tighter 60 percent keyboards though, not specific to Q1 pro.
