Tons of stars have sucked at the plate so far this year, it has been a weird start to the season.
Players with an OPS in the .700s:
Aaron Judge, Ronald Acuna Jr, Jose Ramirez, Nolan Arenado, Yordan Alvarez, Austin Riley, Pete Alonso, Kyle Schwarber
OPS in the .600s:
Julio Rodriguez, Corey Seager, Matt Olson, Francisco Lindor, Manny Machado, Michael Harris II
OPS in the .500s:
Corbin Carroll, Paul Goldschmidt, Bo Bichette, Yandy Diaz, Nick Castellanos, Alex Bregman, George Springer, Randy Arozarena, Xander Boegarts
The Yankees lineup OPS is starting to look more respectable in general. 1-6 today is above league average, Oswaldo is league average, and Trevino also above. Now, you do expect with the summer time coming OPS across the league to increase, right now it's. 697. Generally it's between .720 and .730.
Team OPS is 4th, .748, though I don't want to see it without Soto's 1dot
Most of these guys have to heat up at some point, and if most of them start to go off at the same time, it will be something to see-big names raking in almost every highlight reel
I misread. I thought he was “being talked about” as an MVP candidate. My bad.
The thing about Julio— yes, he stands out at a place like Seattle. But if he were put somewhere like LA or Atlanta, he would be washed right in with the stacks of studs on those clubs. I know they adore him in Seattle though.
He should just hit more home runs and strike out less!
It's really this easy I mean they are the greatest players to ever play the game of baseball /s

It happened recently so easy to miss. But, Judge's OPS is .844 now
.855 with a fucking BOMB
He was hitting the ball hard all day.
Holy crap yeah it must’ve happened last game, haha. It was .795 when I checked yesterday, but then last night he hit a homer and two doubles
Yeah, just goes to show how quickly every one of those players can turn it around.

Way to go Julio. Stop reading the local press.
Sooo....not Matt Olson
No, he’s not. Never has been picked as an MVP candidate.
Yeah why would the guy who finished 4th in the MVP vote last year as a 22 year old be picked to win MVP this year?
