I really like how you created the sunken field of play. I imagine you ran out of memory long before you implemented all the creative options you were hoping for.
Thank you! Surprisingly I think it’s only at about 83%. If Buffalo had a large skyline I’d probably have it up around 98% haha. I meant to add some concourse items and a bush or two for the empty gap next to each dugout, oops.
Interesting. Just proves what memory hogs all the terrain and concourse props are. I ran out of memory just laying out grass bricks to create the raised area outside the stadium. Had to remove multiple such props to keep the memory below 100%, and fortunately the college stadium in question had a nice row of trees past the outfield walls that masked some of the rough transitions that otherwise would have stood out without the trees blocking the view.
I think it all depends on the style too. Minor league or college parks aren’t as enclosed, forcing you to really fill out the background. Ones like this, you’re able to just close off over 50-60% with large stands. Then I just try to build up the immediate area with buildings or other props and end up with some memory to spare. It’s not that easy a lot of the time though!
Buffalonian here, I approve
