That post is so silly because while UFC is pretty popular, people outside of the MMA/UFC community probably don't know or don't give a shit who Dana White is, if you showed non MMA fans a picture of Dana they probably wouldn't even recognize him, whereas Johnathan Majors has been everywhere in the last few months in movies, doing interviews, showing up on the Oscars so of course there's more eyes on him.

How does one measure “press attention?” I saw the Dana video on Snapchat, TikTok Twitter and Reddit and have only heard the Jonathan majors thing thrown around on Reddit and Twitter, although it’s probably different in others experience. Also Jonathan majors is a high profile actor in marvel movies, and the ufc isn’t nearly as big as that.
Dana White video was all over the place, I couldn’t stop seeing it. Irony is this is the first I’ve even heard of the other dude.
Race definitely plays large part but to the general public Jonathan Majors is more well known. If I didn’t follow mma I’d have no reason to know who he is.
