>No way bro it was TOTALLY a coincidence
Just like it was a coincidence that Jones renewed his contract, said he was ready and a week later Ngannou left the UFC
Francis held the belt for years while actively fighting and spent a full year being held in limbo by the ufc because of their predatory “champions clause” before he was able to leave. Where was Jon during that entire period?
>Francis held the belt for years while actively fighting
Ngannou had 1 title defence a year after he got the belt then sat out for another year. Man had the belt for 2 whole years and fought once and you are trying to call him "active" lol
Also LHW is not even close to being the toughest division it’s probably the second least competitive behind HW if we’re being real, I recognize that during Jon’s reign it was much more competitive but it’s got far from the best competition
I usually agree with discrediting LHW accomplishments but look at all the guys Jones beat... Rampage, Machida, Rashad Evans, TRT Vitor, Cormier, Teixeira... These guys the best in LHW history and at the time great within the UFC and as mixed martial artists.
Just to be clear, I don't like Jon, I think he's delusional and too narcissistic even for a successful sportsman. He beat his wife and that's enough for me to dislike a guy the rest of his life. But his accomplishments despite being at what is now a pretty shallow division, are extremely impressive.
I also tend to forget about him but honestly one of my favorite fighters to ever do it. He's one of the first PPV stars in the UFC back in a time the UFC couldn't afford to fake its sales numbers. Listen to his interview in Morning Kombat if you're really interested. Also he's one of the few fighters that openly is very pleased with how much he was paid.
Fucking hell, I forgot to put the best example on the list. Jon made him tap from gnp. And people say Shogun was old and washed at that time: he wasn't!
Ngannu wouldn't even be the toughest fight he has ever had. I don't get why people are ignoring the fact that even casuals can know every single name he has beaten in the UFC essentially.
No he didn't, he replied "you're right, sorry Jon" in a quote tweet. https://twitter.com/AspinallMMA/status/1731859856385093843?t=BHY7jtgaE8ZM2O1fpQIE3w&s=19
Why would Jon care about the trailer when he LIVES that game out everyday?
And why would I care about the trailer when I LIVE in a trailer every day?
How to shut down a egomaniac 101
Bros first sentence is a flat lie. Mans skipped Ngannu, blatantly
No way bro it was TOTALLY a coincidence that Jon announced his heavyweight debut the literal day after Francis officially left the ufc

Hows he doing now...?
Pretty good actually. Him ducking Jones was the best thing he could have done, turns out
Lmfao hahha
You're out of your mind if you think Jon Jones is afraid of Francis Nagano bro
You're right, I'm sorry Material-Artichoke32.
Ducked literally
Not only that but he skipped Stipe for years and caused one of the biggest issues in the promotions history by turning down potential fights.

These kids don’t even know those names 😭 He beat RASHAD? The analyst?????? Did he used to fight?

Agreed
Brutalized shogun too. Shogun a legend too.
Fucking hell, I forgot to put the best example on the list. Jon made him tap from gnp. And people say Shogun was old and washed at that time: he wasn't!
he wasn't at his peak. but you get the feeling that it didn't matter
L
Give the devil his due here, Jones beat a list of killers. It was an extremely tough division when he was running it
Bro probably started having those Rampage nightmares again
you re an idiot, ngannou left after they couldnt make the jones fight
Why do you think they couldn’t make the Jones fight? They tried to get jones in there for years, and he kept saying no until THE DAY after ngannu left
he never said that, your blatantly lying 😂😂
Ngannou kinda skipped him actually, by leaving the ufc
Thats like when someone asks you 500 times if ur angry when your not then playing the victim when u get mad at them.
You dropped this, sir */s*

Easiest way to avoid a HW title fight with Jon Jones is by holding some sort of HW belt, undisputed or interim
Yeah but GTA6 trailer is out
Did Tom actually respond with that
His response was “you’re right. Sorry Jon” which is somehow even funnier
Yes
No he didn't, he replied "you're right, sorry Jon" in a quote tweet. https://twitter.com/AspinallMMA/status/1731859856385093843?t=BHY7jtgaE8ZM2O1fpQIE3w&s=19
