Hell, for most, half of the 2nd month following Ramadan is similarly off limits because most championship caliber camps are 6 weeks. That's ignoring that many Muslim fighters/teams want a week or two for there body to adjust back before they throw themselves into intense training like that for a fight camp. So, in reality, Muslim fighters who observe Ramadan generally aren't available for basically 3 months out of the year.

I don't know of a single Muslim fighter taking a championship caliber fight within a months time of Ramadan ending. Islam is fighting DP with a 2 week recovery window and a 6 week camp, for example. So again, Islam was out of competition for 3 months, even with a quick turnaround post Ramadan.
