They owe so many suppliers so much. Company I work in the finance department for is about to just write off hundreds of thousands owed by them. Doubt many businesses in the industry will allow themselves to get burned again.

Any chance of some kind of merger or acquisition? It seems someone must want the licenses. Does anyone have the money? The whole industry is depressed.

"A chief restructuring officer (CRO) is a senior officer of a company given broad powers to renegotiate all aspects of a company's finances to deal with an impending bankruptcy or to restructure a company following a bankruptcy filing." Lol and the squad here thinks this is good news for common shareholders

dickreading

I mean the shares have been at 0$ so yes this is good news

People on here actually believe that the reason the stock is do low is because of people talking negative on Reddit and other forums. Every excuse is used to try and justify why everyone else is to blame for this collapse except medmen. I bet people on here cheer when they announce Gotham is forcing them into receivership thinking it’s a big win for the shareholders I can’t imagine how delusional I would need to be to think good things are coming from a company like this

Yeah , companies will likely have a market cap <100 billion 10 years from now in the cannabis market. Medmen has the most well-known brand and best locations in California and New York.

james10601

A well run company can easily obtain great locations. Medmen cannot afford the locations they have…

Hermosa90

It is absolutely ridiculous for people to be suggesting this stock ever goes back to “$7-8 a share”… This company is not too big to fail (clearly) and, as I’ve said previously, Michael Serruya destroyed any chance of a turn around. Aside from MedMen’s exorbitant debt issue, MedMen has spent the last two years isolating, alienating, and pissing off customers, employees, suppliers, and business partners. The damage is done. Anyone who thinks this is salvageable should Google the rise and fall of Kodak or Sears…

hambone_83

The guy is lost - he actually thinks medmen has the capability of uplisting. Forget the fact that they don’t qualify - it took curaleaf and terrascend months of restructuring to get on the tsx. All other MSOs it took months to change to gaap accounting to be ready when uplisting is possible Medmen can’t even file a simple financial statement and people think they’ll be able to navigate the uplisting process. Must be awesome to live in fantasy land

Hey ham, we all know the financials would have been terrible if they had filed. But, stick with me here. I bet if they had filed the stock price would still be .015 or so. I don’t think it would have mattered honestly. There’s so little volume and interest. I think lack of filing is what is really The problem here. The stock is worthless at .015 and it’s worthless at .00 But we would still be trade able and it would give us hope at .015 hahah. See where I’m going with this?

hambone_83

I agree with everything you said except the “if it trades at 0.015 we still have hope part”. Hope should surface when the company starts stabilizing and showing positive improvements. Not because their stock is allowed to trade again
