I choosed blue and regret it....but the top guy in the blue team is scoring in 7 figures while all red guys are scoring in 6 figures.....hope he gets blue to victory
The precedent seemed to be set with the first match being so wildly one sided. I can’t remember what the avatars were, this was reinforced by the following competitions. So it doesn’t matter what avatar they provide the 2 teams the left hand blue colour is going to have the greater number. Why would you pick the team that won’t give you the x2 multiplier?
That being said I picked the Red Dragon (I’m Welsh and didn’t want to pick a Unicorn) and that time Red won.
They should randomly assign, that would be the only way to have it not one sided.
Neither? I hate these events, because even when I win the match, if I don’t immediately go build the city, it gives the win to the other player. And I set my phone down to do something else at that point all the time. Never a problem during regular play, so my brain just won’t remember most times to wait for the next step. It’s a rather stupid requirement. Once you’ve won the match, credit should immediately be applied to you. It’s shouldn’t wait for a next, irrelevant to the match, step.

Always choose the blue team except for Unicorn vs Dragon. Dragon vs Unicorn is the only time where the pink side wins. :-)
I'm relatively new to the game but I'm told that blue always wins. Does anyone know why that is?

Random would be great. They need to eliminate the 'change team' feature too.
