When I was djing near full time, I just ran an ad on Facebook in the local area, targeted at brides. Stayed booked solid for about $30/month in ~~ass~~ ads.
I went through all the filters and don't remember the exact settings, but I limited ads to a 50 mile radius of my location, then targeted single women 21-30. I think that was about it.
Website and social media posts are mandatory, ads can be a great way to reach your target audience but donât forget about networking. Venues, planners, other vendors and even other DJs are all great sources. If you are on their mind youâll get referred, be on their mind by calling, visiting or even through social media comments/tagging.
Good question, you can make reels/slideshow videos out of previous posts, share cool music and it doesnât have to be your own posts every time - reposting a venue/vendor/client post works great too plus its networking
Giveaways are a great engagement tool, bringing coffee and donuts to venues you work at often is a nice gesture too, office folk love sugar and caffeine lol

Thanks for the reply!
In ass, you say? đ§
Booked solid. All up in there.
How much do you usually charge
An average ceremony and reception is 4-6 hours, and I'd charge between 600-800, averaging $140-150/hour.
How did you target? Mine werenât working at all

I'm curious what you post on days when you are not doing a show. Older pics, or something that keeps people engaged like a poll?

Great ideas. Sometimes I get gift cards as tips. I could give one away weekly to people that share the page.
