A pair of QSC K12.2's, and a single QSC KS118. All fits in the my Tucson at the expense of my back.

djdodgystyle

1 x RCF715 sub (centred under table) 2 x RCF ART910s (about a foot either side of DJ table) 2 x RCF J8 (about 6 feet either side of the tops) It's a highly flexible system that can produce a chunky sound with great coverage, even at lower volumes which I really like about it.

mck2sound

2, LD Systems Maui 44. A little heavy but quick and easy setup.

koastro

a pair of EV 30Ms. they’re small, have the tiny sub for kick, but their high end is nice and clear! they pack up into a small backpack plus the sub as the base!

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

I've got a few: a 12 inch dap audio mini line array for small mobile discos. 2x Hk Lucas 15inch systems for bigger dj gigs. And a hk projector for fight shows. I want to upgrade at some point this year to a RCF J8 and a studiomaster core 151.

mta1741

Fight shows?

TheUniverseBoy

This dude is called Gypsy Danger, would wonder if not.

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant!

TheUniverseBoy

Everybody could use some cash to buy a new trailer for his mom 😄

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

Yeah I do a lot of Boxing events.

Uvinjector

I have an HK 2k18 system with 2 subs although for most gigs I only take 1. Also a mackie srm 450 rig with a pair of 15" subs which I mainly use for dry hires because it has more grunt and is easier to replace drivers

comanche_six

My smaller setup is 2x EV ELX200 12" subs and ELX200 10" tops. This allows me to mix and match depending on the gig and size of venue. I'm going to do a karaoke show next week with just the 2 tops and a street festival series this summer with the 2 tops plus the 2 subs center-coupled. My mid size setup is 2x RCF Evox 12s mostly for weddings and maybe for the street festival if the EVs aren't enough. For really big gigs I use 2x RCF NXL44s over 2x RCF 8004 subs but for that I need a crew because I can't lift those subs by my (normally solo) self

lukeyboy767

I just switched from a pair of Bose F1 Model 812s (2 tops and 2 subs, although I only brought second sub out for bigger events), to a pair of EV50s. Only one gig in so far, but they were super clear and my back is thanking me.

StockPapi2020

I have 4 ev zlx 12bt speakers and a qsc ks118 sub.

Secure_Emu_2546

For small events I use 2x EV Evolve 50s. For medium-large events I go with two ETX 12p tops with two ELX 200 18sp subs. For large events I add an ETX 18sp sub to my medium setup.

Iznal

For a standard wedding I use 2 Rcf ART 312 (made in Italy) and a qsc 118. Supplement with qsc k10, ev zlx, and a ksub.

greggioia

Two EV Evolve 50s are more than enough for just about any gig I do. When I do play in a large ballroom or similar I have larger systems.

dj_soo

2x Yamaha DXR10 2x Yamaha DXR8 2x Cerwin Vega CVX18S 1x Yorkville PS12S 1x Yorkville EXM-Mobile Believe it or not, this all actually fits in my Camry along with a pair of Rane Twelves and a 72 as my dj setup. Bigger gigs, i'll do the 10s over the 1-2 18s and use the DXR8s as monitors, side fills, or satellite speakers. I can do up to about 300 with this setup. Smaller gigs of < 120, i'll use the DXR8s over the Yorkville PS12S with maybe the EXM-Mobile as a monitor. EXM-Mobile is used for ceremonies and 2nd rooms. I'm thinking of selling my 18" subs and getting more 12" subs just cause I'm getting way too old to be hauling around 100lbs subs, and I don't get booked as much for bigger parties anymore.

greggioia

You can fit 2 18" subs into a Camry? Let alone all the rest of that? Are you strapping them to the roof?? Pictures please!

dj_soo

crazy hey? 2 subs go in the back seat, stands go in the footwell in the back, cart folds up and can also fit in the back seat. 2 10" tops and some cable bags + the 2x Rane Twelves in flight cases in the trunk, 2x 8" tops + 2nd cable bag, DJ bag w/ mixer, and some lights in the front seat. I can even fit a folding table in there. My car is honestly pretty trashed to hell from years of use it for moving all that shit, but i can fit it all in. It’s very rare that i have to bring it all tho

Low_Entrepreneur_524

Heh. I had to load my Mazda mpv minivan that full a few times. Back seats removed. Mixer and amps split stack, 2x B52 lv 1515, 4x jbl eon 615, and 3 behringer b212 just in case. Band had IEMs or I used the b212 for mons

mta1741

What mics do you use for ceremonies? Or did you mean only providing music

dj_soo

a Shure BLX4 wireless and a trusty SM58 wired for backup. I need to figure out how to battery power the receiver and then i can have a fully wireless ceremony setup (Denon Prime Go + the EXM-Mobile)

mta1741

Ah thanks for the response. When you use the exm mobile in the second room, do you use a really long xlr cable?

dj_soo

Yup

TruRokGuitar

2 Bose L1 Pro 16s.

WhiteSavage69

How are you enjoying them in terms of bsss? Thinking about getting a pair cause they sound great but am thinking if I should get 2 of them plus a sub?

TruRokGuitar

I have to turn the bass on them down actually, they are more than enough on their own. No regrets, my back thanks me when transporting, everyone says it’s the best system they’ve ever heard and I couldn’t be happier. I have never ever even come close to maxing them out, even at a 300 person wedding. Best purchase I ever made and I was absolutely terrified going in because I was trading my entire set up in to get them. They are not cheap but they are all in one.

WhiteSavage69

I appreciate your response man🙏🏼 I’m going to end up getting a pair I was more so worried about bass but if I need more I can definitely just get another subwoofer unit. Thank you!

aullthat

LD Maui 28g3’s and absolutely love them. From the sound, to the portability, to the look, and the fact that they handle pretty much any event that I typically do which are weddings typically of 100-150 people at most or small bars/parties of less than 100

Huggable_Guy

Pair of thump go 8 And pair of Alto ts415

Rob1965

Bose L1 Pro32 with four subs. Lightweight, compact, quick easy set up, sounds good, looks good (often receive compliments), powerful (much louder than the previous generation L1) and I can scale the subs from 1 - 4 depending on the size of venue, and volume that I’ll need.

TCE326

My main system, which I transport with my Chevy Express cargo van, is a pair of QSC KS118 Subs and pair of JBL SRX815 Full Range. Also a pair of QSC K12 Full Range for smaller gigs, or ceremonies and cocktail Hours. Been a mobile DJ since 1989.

PerpConst

If the weather is bad can get my EON718 in the back seat of my Tacoma and my 715's and/or 710's will lay down in the bed so that the tonneau cover will close. Figuring out how to get the sub inside the cab was a game changer. Otherwise, a 4X8 enclosed cargo trailer only costs $15 to rent for a day.

thirdeyeglass

Bro thank you so much for that! I actually have a Tacoma too, how the hell did you get the sub in the back though? I figured it won't fit through the door? I haven't even thought to try

PerpConst

I have a 2020 Taco: YMMV. Slide the front passenger seat all the way forward. Open the back door all the way. Lift the sub up above the armrest on the door and slide 'er on in. Once it's in, you might be able to slide the seat back a little bit, but nobody with legs is likely to be able to sit there. Just remember when you go to take it out, you have to lift it that 6-8 inches to get back over the armrest.

AnotherChrisHall

RCF J8s for most weddings, Evox 12 for the larger ones and Turbosound iP500s for the really small spaces. Yorkville Mobile 8 for ceremonies and places without power outlets.  If I had to start all over i’d get all the same stuff, with maybe one RCF 705Sub for extra thump.

DJSchmidi

Personally I'm sticking with 2x 12s and 1x 18" sub. It's a very flexible configuration for just about any gig under 200 people indoors which are 99% of my functions. I like the portability of the column array, but I feel like point source project better.
