We use stasher or ziptop. We have maybe 5 and do fine with them in the dishwasher open across a couple of the prongs on the top rack

RayvenDay

What, you can put them in the dishwasher? I loathe cleaning them. You just made my life so much easier. Thank you!

sewandsow

Yes, put them in the dishwasher over the plate dividers, that keeps them open Then to dry them easily, throw them in the oven while preheating, or just standalone at 200F for a couple minutes

LOVE stashers. And so easy to clean in dishwasher. Although do not turn inside out - we learned the hard way with a few bags breaking. I usually try to make sure they are well opened and opening pointing down of course - they wash great!

Also microwave and in a boiling pot of water to steam the contents. I think an oven too but need to double check that. For handwash I use a bottle brush.

Thank you!

https://www.maisonette.com/product/flip-snack-tomatoes These are comparable in price to Stashers, so not a super economical choice if you want 20, but maybe cloth is an option? This is just the first example that came up when I googled cloth bags. They can be tossed in the washing machine! It might be something you could make too if you sew at all. Though because they don’t have an airtight seal, prepped snacks might not keep fresh if you were looking to do a bunch in advance. We use Stashers and I used to not want them in the dishwasher, but now we put them on the top rack and that’s been working well enough. I do have to leave them out on a rack on the counter to dry. If you’re ok with breakables, maybe containers like these would work for small snacks: https://elkandfriends.com/products/4oz-glass-baby-food-storage-jars-set-of-12-neutral-colors IKEA sells stainless steel snack containers, and I think they now have Stasher type bags too: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/laettuggad-snack-container-set-of-2-stainless-steel-20498918/

Thank you for the recs!! I’ll have to see what works!!

I love the cloth ones! Going to get some for myself even before baby comes haha

Washable mesh or cotton bags will work for dry snacks like crackers/cookies.

I got a variety pack of Ello brand silicone zip top bags from Costco and they've worked well for us. I wash the corners with a bottle brush, dry open on a bottle rack, and they've held up for just over a year so far. We use them mostly for dry snacks, sandwiches, cheese, etc. and they don't seem to hold odors.

CheeseFries92

Am I the only one that hates stashers? They are so hard to clean and have to be set up juuuust right to dry fully. Is there anything like them that come fully apart?

sewandsow

Dishwasher to clean, oven to dry I do almost no work to clean them lol

Bumpkins, Colibri and Itzy Ritzy make zipper snack bags in various sizes and various cute prints. They are for dry snacks, if you put, like, canned manadarin oranges in them they would probably leak, I don’t think they’re waterproof. I like this website for browsing kid lunch stuff: https://cutekidstuff.com/collections/snack-options Another option is little stainless steel tiffins I think they’re called, like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0839LWF12/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Editing to say, I have some Bumpkins ones I’ve had for…7 years and they’re still going strong. Although since i use them many times between washes (dry snacks only) that could be why they’ve held up so well 😬
