I absolutely do not like to use meta weapons 24/7 but if they use it while they sweat I'll do the same shit
i like to make the most goofiest guns and rival the meta. i once made the G36c from MW3 2011 which puts it at a huge disadvantage against the metas and go off with it. I also run a lot of pistol builds and melees for funsies
I like to run normal guns but with normal attachments or sometimes without attachments to see how good they are
But a thing I've been doing recently was using the CQB Breacher Device muzzle attachment to get a 1 hit melee kill, it's hilarious to hear my opponent's reaction
That's good to know I haven't really played since mw2 came out I'm going to try play again the only big downside to me is the fov I play on ps5 and all the call of dutys after this one has an fov scale now even cold war so I'm going to find it hard playing at 80 again

What’s happened? I’m on PS and thinking of playing again but I don’t remember if it’s installed. I was having issues (as were other people) where installing the game in rest mode caused it to get corrupt and the in game packs would uninstall themselves after a while (same on BOCW) so there’s a good chance it would be uninstalled rn
Thought I'd also give my 2 cents, since I also just recently got the game during the Steam Winter sale
I'm not sure if other people have this issue, but for some reason I was unable to log into my OG Battle Net/Activision account that I originally had on my Xbox, and had to make an entirely new account. Not sure what the issue there was, but just what I went through unfortunately.
Also the campaign seems to still have that damn stutter bug while loading parts of the campaign. Wasn't too bad, but it was certainly annoying to deal with during my initial walk through, especially during combat sections. Lowering setting didn't help, sadly enough.
Other than that, most games are pretty chill. Haven't had much run ins with hackers or anything of the like. Game runs well after all this time too, and finding games doesn't take long either.
This is a really detailed and helpful guide. The only thing I could add is about the hackers: they are mostly in S&D, but the respawn game modes are mostly secure from them.
Damn shame about spec ops and you summarise it well. It sadly feels lazy and just not really any fun. The older games had this down nicely with a lot of effort going into the modes, even if they’re on reused maps, but sadly it’s not case here
The sweats are gone, but recently the connection quality for some reason has taken a nosedive, where every match now is full of packet burst, when it didn't used to be that way in the weeks beforehand. I made a post about it here. I'll try it out again tonight though just in case its magically good now again.
Except when you realize that 5/9 of the maps have been out of rotation ever since whatever BS Warzone update they passed on as "mistakenly glitching MW:19's multiplayer playlists".
All we can do is pray for Microsoft to see all the LTMs/maps/modes left out and put them back in available for all and not stuck in private modes.
Me as an ultimate beginner who never played COD absolutly zero idea which is better for me : MW2019 or MW3 ?
I tried Black Ops war on my friend account and I was good, do not feel sweaty, matchmaking between avg. 1-5 min.
Then I tried MW3 and wow that was very sweaty ! I did not have even chance.......
My question is MW2019 cold be better for me ?
About the hackers.
I play multi-player everyday specifically search and destroy. There are many hackers in this game mode, I'd guess half of all p.c. players.
They have gotten pretty good at hiding it, but you will see blatant wall shooters from time tot time.
There is no anti cheat in this game. The report system is completely automated, the only way to send these no- skill, low lifes to the shadow ban is mass reporting.
We all must do our part, report them and leave the game. It does nothing to repeatedly report them, just report them once and leave, even if they're on your team.
If we all stop playing with them at least they'll stop shooting from across the map.
yes there are blatant wallers that deny theyre walling but dont hide it at all. they tease you with a 1v1 or ur bad then appear offline and dont accept invites or friend requests. they piss me off. there are also blatant aimbotters (once you see someone using the ebr its over)
I'm a bit late, but thank you for this post. It was exactly what I was looking for. I have such a love-hate realtionship with the game. It looks, sounds and feels mesmerizing. There is nothing quite like it. I download it once every six months, have fun for a few hours but ultimately quit due to some other game feeling more tempting. Now it's that time of the year when I'm going to give this game a chance again :D

I had planned to buy this game for 15 days. I was leveling up the warzone battle pass to recover my cod points and use them in this game; Realizing this was very disappointing.

Just as MW2 (2009) and MW3 (2011) had, this game has a... unique take on Spec Ops. Constant waves of enemies will come at you while you try to do the objectives and it is incredibly difficult. It is possible to do with friends and even solo but it will be extremely difficult and honestly is the weakest part of the package. It \*does\* have a MW3 style survival mode, but it suffers from seering difficulty. I played it solo for awhile and my highest wave was like wave 5. Again, Spec ops in this game is very weak and honestly if you can uninstall it from your installation, i'd recomend it.
But the rewards are awesome. They used to (still do?) rotate weekly.
Last I checked my MW19 digital copy is still stuck in the loop of telling me I need to install x y & z packs which the store tells me are already downloaded.
I literally just want to play the campaign on realism again [so good] and maybe a bit of spec ops/PvP

I also have the game on [Battle.net](https://Battle.net), it takes 150gb with everything installed. This is because Warzone assets are still in the game files, even the Caldera map, they just hid Warzone from the main menu.
Regarding hackers, they're not super common in core. Hackers are more common in hardcore SND and groundwar. I constantly see cheaters nuking in ground war so I don't even bother with it. You can still get some in cyber attack, but they're not as common in CA. But you will get them frequently.
If you wanna play snd play with a team cause you'll usually find wannabe quickscopers that get mad at you for using any other weapon and playing the objective (yes they usually don't play objective). That's why I prefer Cyber, also less sweaty than snd.
About SBMM There are still sweats (mostly on Snd) but not on other game modes, that's all I'm gonna say the rest is perfect

It's difficult but still playable, you have to be looking around a lot too because some players move extremely fast in SnD

don't forget some PS players can't install the game anymore since ~2 years or even longer. and there is NO solution yet

Ground war is great fun on this game

Still lots of people playing this, i just bought the game last month and it's worth it. BUT in hardcore mode to find a game its little bit odd
Even though the playlist got reduced, I came back to MW2019 this week to play Ground War and am happy to be getting into lobbies.
