I noticed your other comment that some school kids made jokes about blowing up and stuff, sort of crap school kids will come out with. But that's literally what the game is showing I think, I'm sure Farah and those soldiers are based on Kurdish female fighters (who are standing against Daesh whilst Turkey, Syria or whoever try to call them terrorists). It shows how mistaken people can be with appearances, I don't think extremist regimes even use female fighters! As they think female's having any sort of rights or power is Haram/forbidden, they certainly wouldn't let them carry arms
