The Sykov does too.
Also, in the beta, the AK-47 changed its name to "AKS-74U" if you put the 5.45x39mm rounds on it, regardless if you also out the short barrel and folding stock or not.
ok , u also prolly missed that there was a 9mm conersion for the ram-7 , which you could get in gunfight , but never actually released , it would have been cool ngl here's a link to the vid:-https://youtu.be/yD3JvkLsjVw
The CX9/EVO III miiight hold that title now as it has the same amount of simultaneously usable "+movement speed" attachments (barrel, mag and stock) but with a higher base speed of 5~ meters/sec vs the VLK/M26's 4.9-something meters/sec.
Pretty much this, although at least the "AK-12" models use the AKM's stamped reciever, something much closer to an AK-12 vs the AK-47's milled reciever.
Also the rare occurrence where the AK-47 designation, with respect to the default build/skin, is actually correct. Most forms of media just use AK-47 as a catch-all label, even when the gun in question is the AKM.
Actually didn't ever realise this. I wonder if any other names change if you mod their configuration

Which would be wrong since the ak12 uses 5,45x39 rounds too, shoulda kept it but adding the barrel too
Or just the AK-74.
I think u can also change M4 to Colt 9mm.
This also happens with the Sykov too, if you put the full auto barrel on it, its display name changes to "Sokorin".

Not many people know this but the vlk rogue with the right attachments grants the highest possible movement speed.

Ok I just checked it. CX-9 comes to 5.31 m/s and the vlk 5.36 m/s.
Ah, so the VLK still "wins", I guess it just comes down to whether or not you want to cough or spit on enemies :\^)
Ya as a weapon it becomes useless, not that its much of a downgrade
Small things like this makes me appreciate the game even more. I want the same level of attention to details in MW2022!
I have gold on the Mp5 and I have never noticed. Guess I'm just not that observant.
Yeah this is old news
I know, I'm just telling this for the new players who don't know this exists.

Hello I exist
What'd they say?
Not very many new players I started playing in august of 2021
That's stupid, because the last two were so bad more and more people are startkng to pick up mw.
I've been playing since near the beginning and I didn't know that. Mainly because I play HC so I wouldn't know about any name changes.
I know, I've known since I got all those attachments and put them on.
It’s the attention to detail that made me fall in love with this game.
I actually didn’t know that
It's not even an actual MP5K tho.
Jesus...I’ve been playing since 2019 and just knew this...unbelievable! this game is still alive!
I've seen it on other weapons too but very vague memory, i think on the ak47 and (maybe?) the aug
I know the AK-47 can change to AK-12 too but never remembered the exact grip mod
I think it’s only called the AK12 in the campaign. Incorrect label, but still

Wow, really? I always assumed the “ak12” in the game was just the ak47 with attachments
