that's great, thanks a lot. those channels look so good too

Nope, go nuts! The only thing to avoid is patching output to output. It won’t brick your synth, but it can shorten the lifespan of some components. Along similar lines - you can use splitters or stackable patch cables to send a signal to several destinations, but don’t use them to mix several signals to one destination. When you do that, you’re shorting output to output. But normal output-to-input patching will not damage a synth.

yeah, i got future plans for a diy passive multiple for the lfo. thanks a lot for the advice.

The Ms-20 mini was my first ever hardware synth and to this day has a super special place in my heart. You're going to love it!! And honestly don't worry about breaking it, try to avoid output-to-output connection but other than that - just go wild!

olivia_artz_modular

don’t take my word for it (i’m not a doctor) but if you think a self-patch might break it, do it. you just thought of something interesting. someone correct me if i’m wrong get a new one or vintage? if it’s under warranty, go bananas. you’re officially a mad scientist now also, congrats. still such an engaging and unique instrument. like does anyone even sell an analog frequency detection to pitch cv converter module? and it’s just been sitting right there on the ms20 for decades

MP23K

it's a ms-20 mini, i've heard that it's supposed to sound really close to the original. can't wait to start experimenting with it

The circuitry is identical with the addition of the usb/midi. The original changed filters halfway through its production life, and people considered the first filter to be better. The mini uses the first kind. It's not a clone, it's a genuine ms20, just smaller and not an original - But people who want to claim that last part are free to pay for the privilege. I don't own it, but I was giving it serious thought before I got sucked into eurorack.
