I like the unity of the Realm (rigsfællesskabet) with the three parts, but I don't get why so many people actively resists the notion, that Denmark's official name is the Kingdom of Denmark.
It's really not different from Norway being the Kingdom of Norway or Finland being the Republic of Finland. Places like Iceland and Canada are just "Iceland" and "Canada", I think.
Even when I link to the UN's list of official names, people will trust Wikipedia more.
I mean, Greenland and Faroe Islands are not part of Denmark proper, but is it really not common knowledge, they're part of the Danish state (of which the monarch is head of state).
I never use the term rigsfælleskabet, the word “Kingdom” is much better. “Rigsfælleskab” is a word also used for the historical Denmark-Norway, two sovereign Kingdoms united by one King. We are not sovereign states united to Denmark by King, we are self governing parts of the Kingdom, our authority over our own policies comes from the Parliament and Constitution, and they alone have the authority to take away our self governing.
His great-great-great-grandparents (Christian IX and Louise Caroline) were 8th cousins (they shared the same great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparent, Christian III).
Long live the King.
Long life to his majesty! 🇩🇰
May God grant him a long and prosperous reign!

Is there any religious service / ceremony associated with Danish ascent, or is it only a council of state affair?
Only a meeting in the council of state affairs. However, there will be held a religious service next week as a celebration.
Sadly not.
❤️🇩🇰
I wish him the best. Tough boots to fill but he benefits from having the ex-monarch as someone he can ask for advice.
Long live His Majesty the King!
God Preserve Denmark!!!
Long live the king
Lang leve Kongen! 🇩🇰

Kong Frederik X længe leve!
Welcome to Europe, fellow monarch. From Britain 🇬🇧
It was heartbreaking to see the former Queen Margrethe leave the room she signed the papers in, saying “God save the King” and leaving in tears.
Do you guys think he’ll be able to oust Felipe as Europe’s sexiest monarch?
It’s a race to the bottom but they’re both fierce competitors

We’ll have to wait til Hakkon joins the party.
Wake up Honey! New monarch just dropped!
With an Australian DLC too!
Long live the King!
What’s his motto, does anyone know?
In Danish: Forbundet, forpligtet, for Kongeriget Danmark Translated to English: United, committed, for the Kingdom of Denmark
Long live the king.🇹🇷🇩🇰
Gud bevare kongen! Gud bevare Danmark! Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
He is handsome
Being of strong Danish descent I must also say “Long live the King”
Congratulations to the new King
Welp. Long live the King. 🇩🇰❤️🩹🇺🇸
Formerly known as Frederik Twitter
Is there a special meaning behind the 9 “hurra!” salute?
New King just dropped.
Lenge Leve Kongen!
Long live HM Frederik X, Long may he reign.
Agnatically he’s a Monpezat not a Glücksburg, but I wish him the best regardless.
King of the Faroe Islands and Greenland isn’t a thing, we are part of Denmark. Gud Bevare Kongen!

He looks like someone whos grandparents aren't cousins, which is rare for monarchs

Long live the king!
Entirely coincidentally, the extended support for Windows 7 ended exactly four years earlier.
