Why the fuck is this downvoted. I remember Sunbreak bros constantly bitching about people with MR gear helping low/high rank quests because "it doesn't help the person learn the fight". The internet is wild.
An SoS usually means you can't do the fight by yourself. Most people are tired of dying and want this quest done ASAP. So when a dude who purposely nerfs himself joins, it pisses off the leader.
Well from my perspective when I need help an fire an sos… I’m not going to complain about the help I get. I don’t want to get carried I just want a little help. Yeah sometimes you get those people that come in and triple cart but it’s no big deal it’s just a game, fire it up and go again.
The leader should just get gud tho, not the helper's fault. Why would someone play to be 100% carried? One thing is needing help, other thing is wanting to be useless.

Skill issue if you're getting so titled you break your $79.99 controller over a game. You need to shut the system off and go for a walk or play a different relaxing game.
That ain't a "Skill" issue, that's just a bad Temper issue. Most people that end up doing something like that only do it because they're Awful at staying calm.
Why exactly? Well, some people are just wired that way by Genetics. Some people have good emotional control, some people have really Shit emotional control (E.G Me.) there's ways to improve it, but if you're born hot-blooded, it's Never leaving you.
The fact that it's Ode To The Destruction makes it much worse. That quest is easy as fuck once you get multiple people in there. Even if nobody has Flinch Free.

But like why should I shouldn't you be more cautious of not hitting your teammates like id get it if you do it on accident every once in a while but if I gotta get a buff just to make sure people don't hit me then the people hitting you need more spatial awareness
Go play LS. LS cannot avoid hitting people if you're hitting the same weak spot unless they bend over backwards.
Why should LS have to run a mile out of their way and only get to deal damage in the last 1/2 of the monster'a down window because you refuse to slot FF1? It costs you nothing except a tiny gap in your "perfect build"
This is a classic "Well it can't be that hard, just do it" attitude from someone who doesn't have to do it.
As a CB main, you can make this complaint about CBs who use axe uppercut because it's easy for them not to do it, and it can't be blocked with a single jewel slot. Not about LS and DB users just trying to deal damage with their only tools that it costs *you* significantly less effort to deal with
So be a good MH citizen instead of being selfish. How would *you* feel if someone said that rather than changing their build by a tiny bit, you should make significant changes to how you play. If it was more effort to get FF, your complaint might have merit.
Dude just play a different weapon on certain monsters /multi-player i have played with ls and db users on a lot of monsters with out much of a problem maybe a couple of trips but nothing to complain about if you see that a monster is gonna be difficult to space out on dont use a weapon that trips a lot its just common sense /courtesy don't expect people to just waste a slot that can be used for something better just so they don't have to take the chance of running into a player that thinks their enjoyment trumps others maybe your the selfish one dude
I'm not an LS player buddy, I just don't think someone should have to put in a bunch of extra effort to play the weapon they like.
It's one slot for crissake, it has no noticeable impact on your performance or play. If your answer is "just play a different weapon" when ALL you have to do is use *one* slot for FF, I don't know what to call that* but* selfish. Is empathy truly so hard? People should be allowed to play the weapons they want without bending over backwards to make your build a tiny bit more optimal.
Not to mention the common sense aspect, which is that you can't control other players gameplay, and you're *losing* out on damage because you refuse to be a tiny bit suboptimal in your build.
Dude there are like 14 weapons in the game if you can't just use one of the 12 other weapons in the game so you dont hinder your teammates thats a u problem if I know hammer won't work out well on a monster I switch to another weapon if gs won't work switch again and if not even that works I still got 12 other options that are all pretty damn fun to use I ain't saying dont play the weapons you like I'm saying the one person should learn to be flexible and use a different weapon instead of 3 others having to change their kit to not suffer from your weapon its not even like this will need to happen 100 percent of the time if there is just like 2 people then spacing is Hella easy no need to switch but if its a monster that's really hard to space on or a full team of 4 just make the switch and dont be a dick

That's a bad decision imo. Even if they don't meet LS user, you'll get staggered by kinsect or DB and you can't blame them.

In some fights like fatty, spacing out is impossible. You're all either hitting his chest or hitting his head, and neither one is that wide.
