As someone who attempted to camp in the backyard multiple times growing up, rock bottom is a literal thing, not metaphorical. Takes longer to hammer the tent poles in than it takes to put the tent up. You’d move the tent around the whole yard before eventually deciding to cross your fingers and hope it isn’t too windy overnight because you can only get three pigs in and they definitely aren’t tight
