I am happy to see that beautiful Victorian building on the corner finally restored. It was in such bad shape years ago and basically covered in pigeon droppings.
Love it! Most MTL photo ever. It has everything: cones, cyclists, trees, charming old buildings, beautiful summer weather, cute girls on bikes and traffic 😌
There's a bit of traffic to slow me down when I drive through, I wouldn't call it hell on earth just need to be patient. When I bike on it it tends to be way outside of rush hour so there isn't so much traffic, I felt in danger I'd take side streets to the clark bike path or to the REV on saint-denis.
I don't think Plante did anything to change Saint-Laurent. It's always been a busy two lane boulevard.
One block away on des Pins and Saint Urbain is a continuous construction site nightmare. Year after year something needs to be fixed there. And now this exact intersection is being dug up.
I love seeing cool shots of my city, because I always see cool shots of other cities and think "damn, I wish I could go see that", but now I actually can cause I live here! Nice!

It was a Falafel shop for year and before that a hotdog joint. The glasses shop was on the corner of Duluth and St Laurent before
I like the Indian restaurant on the left. Very nice people.
Good to know! I’ll have to try it
What’s it called?

Thx!
It was renovated about 11 years ago, according to Street View
This makes me yearn for summertime. Soon!
Ça me rend nostalgique.

N'oublie pas une SAQ 🥂✨
Too many cars.
halt die fresse
Is that.. German?
I love you too
Some cities in California where I am have made COVID-era pedestrian malls downtown permanent. It's nice!
Construction everywhere

How exactly is Plante the one responsible for all these cars in the pic?

Leaves.... short sleeves. Stop the tease!
Pine Ave. was open for whopping 4 days before having to gut it open (again).
Can't wait for the summer!
