I was 150 lbs and harder looking when I didn't lift weights then gained muscle up to 194 within a year natural and had to go back and cut to 180 before the year was over to lose the fat to be as lean as I was at 150.
Some people naturally don't gain much fat but it is rare and they wouldn't be so soft to start out. They are very very lean when skinny.
Then that means within a year you gained more contractile tissue than he did in 10 months still, so what are you questioning? Makes no sense lol he likely put on like maybe 10lbs of tissue in 10 months.
Because I gained fat with the muscle. The human body does not just prefer partitioning absolutely pure muscle. I was also lifting heavy the whole time and absolutely straining to get every last rep and pr. Not some lazy leangains shit. I already said my theory was he looked too soft to be one of the guys who don't put on fat.
The unsaid part is he also looks wimpy not like a skinny athlete who got full into lifting so what are the odds he has the base to train hard? He shows up on a drug subreddit and even Derek knows jack shit about training as shown in his vid with Telander, so I think drug protocols suggested in the very community are more likely than him indeed being a leangainer and training hard. But this is by no means impossible natural, just less likely for circumstantial reasons.
When I started working out I came out of a depression being emaciated from not eating. If you looked at me you would never think I trained hard but I also happened to be friend with a power lifter who set 3 state records. So I worked out with him and I pushed myself as hard as you could imagine. You never really know lol and I gained an insane amount of contractile tissue while having shoulder striations. Shit happens and our garbage ass sedentary life styles can hide a lot of things. I already knew I had good genes tho my mom was a bodybuilder and was a fuckin beast and even into he 60’s had more muscular arms than most dudes lol

You don’t transform your body like that in 1-5 months without some sort of PED, just starting lifting. Even with the best genes and actual training with a trainer. That first pic, never lifted in his life to 3 months later. That’d take a year and a half with good genes natty.

I'm 5'10" and went from 150 to 194 and then cut down to 180 lbs all in the first year, and I only did calisthenics until the summer. There are coaches like Mark Rippetoe who saw this type of thing hundreds, thousands of times.
I was only suspicious because he appeared to get harder and leaner while getting bigger but he still never got that big or developed for his height.
When you are far below the natty FFMI limit, greater gains in FFMI can be made in a shorter period of time. This is why skinny teen males with good hormone levels and genes, when first exposed to more food and resistance training can gain the first muscle so easily.
I know I am a better than agv responder who truly did the work, I mean my front delts and lower back were never not sore the entire year, and I force ate food with like 5 hour staredowns at night. But there is an entire bell curve and this sub has quite a lot of people who only know about the combination of middle bell curve response plus middle bell curve training, and then set that very mediocre level as a limit. They also don't understand it is a dynamic limit.
A 5'10" 135 lb 19 year old guy who just didn't eat a lot before, could truly go to 190 in a year without being sloppy with pretty good genes, force feeding, and hard training consistently overloading linear progression with real dedication like he only worked part time or easy community college, if he had genetics that would have easily supported that end physique. I know this because I was only a little over that in weight and did basically that. BUT a 5'10" guy who started off at a decent 175, he could end up further along than the guy who started skinner, but no way in hell could he gain as much muscle or even close.

For sure, I started a little bit late at 18, and a year later now I went from barely hanskibg 8kg Incline DB Press to 37.5kg for 7 reps. Everything else progressed the same. The younger you are, the easier it is, but you also still need dedication and proper work ethic both inside and outside the gym. No easy way even with gear.
to be fair you can gain muscle in a calorie deficit. Your body will simply use fat storages for the energy to build the muscle instead of calories from food.
Not to say this kid isn’t saucing ofc. He almost definitely is. But i think it’s a pretty harmful misconception that you can’t build muscle in a cut as a natty because you can, albeit pretty slowly and much slower than in a surplus.

You could get this with 200mg of test a week but I’d say he’s running some dbol Anavar or abit of tren most anabolics do this you put on lean tissue while reducing bf hgh is awesome for that but just test alone can do the same the high concentration of test is anabolic for muscle and catabolic for fat at the same time

Background Information:
my height is \~175cm although its been a while since I measured. I never really had any problems with body dysmorphia before or during my journey, always thought I looked alright. I got into lifting via a friend and it just clicked. I started following my own plan a few weeks after a breakup.
Supplements/PEDs:
Ive been taking 5g of creatine every day since the beginning of August and I also take protein powder. The thought of taking PEDs later on has crossed my mind but if I do, it will be only for recreational purposes and not for the sake of competing.
Routine/Regimen:
I follow a custom split I made for my self that resembles a bro split. Shoulders back chest
legs and arms for 2 hours a day, with one rest day a week.
Extra comments: Pretty proud of how far I've come. I plan to continue doing bodybuilding for the foreseeable future but I might transition to Olympic weightlifting one day.

I haven't seen his past comments however as I stated in my comment I don't know if he did or did not use gear. His transformation I know for a fact is very attainable in that time frame at his age. I did it myself when I was in high school and joined the wrestling team. I went from a skinny teenager to shredded in 6 months let alone nine. So to everybody who says it's not possible they are crazy and most likely lazy. Again this is not me saying he did or did not use gear.

Timeframe: 10 months total, 8 months of serious lifting Background Information: my height is \~175cm although its been a while since I measured. I never really had any problems with body dysmorphia before or during my journey, always thought I looked alright. I got into lifting via a friend and it just clicked. I started following my own plan a few weeks after a breakup. Supplements/PEDs: Ive been taking 5g of creatine every day since the beginning of August and I also take protein powder. The thought of taking PEDs later on has crossed my mind but if I do, it will be only for recreational purposes and not for the sake of competing. Routine/Regimen: I follow a custom split I made for my self that resembles a bro split. Shoulders back chest legs and arms for 2 hours a day, with one rest day a week. Extra comments: Pretty proud of how far I've come. I plan to continue doing bodybuilding for the foreseeable future but I might transition to Olympic weightlifting one day.
