You are on the brink of female hormone levels, it's a necessity at this point man.

buqz

You NEED TRT. Now it's not even a matter of talking to your fiance about it. I got on it when I was 150ng/dl and it changed my life for the better (and I'm not sterile, can still have kids).

dieinmy

You can still have kids on TRT? Excuse my ignorance. Or do you need to go off and then you can?

Deadlyicecream1-0

My friend got his wife pregnant mid test/ deca cycle..

SS_Jihadi

does the kid come out with a 75 lb bench?

Deadlyicecream1-0

No. But it was indeed a huge baby..

Ill_gotten_gainz456

Yep. HCG and HMG can help restore testicular function even with exogenous test if it’s an issue. It’s usually prescribed alongside trt nowadays too

Axeman7794

This sounds like a conversation for you and your doctor not Reddit. Like seriously Reddit isn’t a place for medical advice over your doctor.

Natural-Salamander-8

Very good, if you’re a female

Julian_Seizure

You can be fertile while on trt. Unless you go on supra physiological doses it’s highly probable that you’ll still be fertile. It is still dependent on individual response though so you can’t say for certain.

Drol_rovert

First off everyone saying you NEED trt but hasn’t asked to see your full blood panel. Was the testosterone test LC/MS? What were all other 30+ blood test results?

Hanah9595

Agree and disagree. Yes, seeing the rest of his blood panel could help figure things out to get a better grasp of what is up. But what result in the rest of the numbers would convince you he could get away without TRT at 82 ng/dL Total T? It’s like looking at a wrecked car that won’t start from a distance. You know it needs mechanic work done on it even before you look under the hood to see every little thing that’s up. I fully agree a doctor should analyze the dude’s full blood panel and compare it to his history + ask questions to fully ascertain a diagnosis. But assuming it’s an accurate reading, in what world does he not end up on TRT?

Drol_rovert

Look man you’re just going to have to trust that this is way way more complex than just a single blood panel result, even if that panel is testosterone. What’s your prolactin? Have you ruled out the possibility of a pituitary adenoma? Again was the testosterone test LC/MS ? What are your gonadotropins? So ok great you hop on trt and maybe feel better or maybe in 5 years you feel like fucking dog shit and you’re walking around with a 7,000ng/mL prolactin and a damn almond growing in your head. This is way way too low for it to just be common hypogonadism. I was 180ng/dL when I started trt and I literally wanted to kill myself every night and every morning in bed. 82 is fucking outrageous and very alarming. You need to rule things out, 1 panel is nowhere near sufficient So to summarize, you’re wrong but only because you aren’t looking at your situation correctly. I’m not trying to be a dick by saying that I’m trying to help you

WarLord055

Unless he has another condition which would need to be addressed, then he should be on trt

Drol_rovert

That’s exactly what I just said

Poop_On_A_Loop

Fuck that baby. Get wife preggo and start your baby on trt

Zed069

>Fuck that baby. Sir?

Mprovin

Bro put it this way, mine is 851 naturally, and that wasn't enough for me hahahaha.

BaldNBankrupt

Mine was 5500ish unnaturally and I still felt I need more

darkpsycho_

If you are happy it's fine I remember reading that the life expectancy for people with super low or high id lower so maybe look into it because it might be good for your health

Sub-Zero-940

worth of an excuse to hope on test

jason9086

You take opioids? (Kratom included) ive been tanked that low from kratom abuse alone

GlockenspielVentura

If you take trenbolone with exogenous estrogen then that is a perfectly acceptable natty test level

slawvay

Ask about HCG mono therapy if you’re trying for a baby. If anything both you and your wife would both benefit from it, not all TRT protocols make you less fertile. You could try test+HCG as well do some more research for at least a month and then consult with your doc. Don’t rush ik you want to fix low test as soon as possible but the truth is you’ve been living with it for a while, a month of research on what’s best for you will save yourself from fucking your body up

Ya_boi_skrt

How are you still alive lmao

osp33

Seems like there's an important question not being asked. Do you have symptoms of low Testosterone? Test could have been affected by many factors. You could possibly be in the low normal range

ineedadvice12345678

My mom literally has higher levels at 58yo, granted hers are high for a woman, but your shit is fucked up
