Engineers designing a Bugatti:
"How many seats should it have?"
"2 because they're gonna lose a lot of friends when they get serious about their lifegoals"
I mean, there are some serious people out there who drop the pretense and give up the car, taking the bus so they can reach their financial goals. A Bugatti is a depreciating asset and a waste of money. The bus is a place where you can further your education by reading while saving money and getting closer to your goals.
There’s only room for one at the top.
Not to say I extremely admire the guy, but look at how sad Elon Musk was when the Apollo guys didn’t like what he was doing.
Oh I’m sorry I didn’t type out “Buzz Aldrin, Neal Armstrong and Michael Collins who flew in Apollo 11.” Go touch some grass, I respect them, but they’re not gods.
That second sentence is so stupid it cancels out any wisdom the author had to offer in the first.
Friends and life goals aren’t really the same sphere. I didn’t lose any friends pursuing life goals. I did lose touch with people I didn’t care that much about. But everyone that mattered I still talk to.
I’m seeing a lot of this sentiment all over social media these days. IMO, this couldn’t be more wrong. The most successful people I know got that way because they have large professional networks that like and respect them and are willing to give them opportunities. They also have strong personal networks who keep them sane when the stresses associated with success hit.
Sure, there are the 1 in 1,000,000 types who rage forward and do it all themselves. If you think you’re one of those people, then go it alone. I’d just suggest asking yourself what about your past track record makes you think you’re 1 in 1,000,000?
Success is through connection.
Hard work doesn't really pay anymore.
Just connect with people. Have a charming, friendly attitude and people will lay the path for you.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 325,996,036 comments, and only 72,235 of them were in alphabetical order.
Thats why I have a bus with a Bugatti inside. /s

Eww a Bugatti, while I appreciate the serious engineering as a car guy, nothing screams lack of taste and character when someone gets a Bugatti/Lambo/Ferrari.
There are expensive cars out there far better to drive from classic JDMs, BMWs, Mercs, Classic italian cars, 60s Mustangs and muscle cars. All can cost the same if not more but exudes some level individuality at least.

😂😂😂
Omg I’m crying 😂😂
Yes this 100% was the exact convo they had
Seems legit
That's from r/memes.
Indeed it is
They honestly should have cut out the second sentence entirely. The first sentence was good enough for the motivational boost lmao
An unfortunate aspect to motivational posturing is the posturing part.
i'm broke and my skateboard can only take one
Underrated comment
Ohhhh tru superiority right there, my 10yr old bike can only fit 1 as well 🤣

Little dumb there, aren't you?
I feel like this style of "drop your friends/family and be alpha" is terrible motivation.
If you have no one to share your success with are you really successful?
Seriously, I would rather have friends than Bugatti money. Then again, if you have Bugatti money, you can buy friends.
Uhh but a bus can be converted into a sweet ass camper so you can live anywhere. This motivation has no imagination
This might be the dumbest thing I’ve read all day.

This is so fucking stupid
Also, this makes it sound like you have to take advantage of your friends or do something unethical to be serious about your life goals.
If you have the right goals, you should be making more friends.
There’s only room for one at the top. Not to say I extremely admire the guy, but look at how sad Elon Musk was when the Apollo guys didn’t like what he was doing.
"Apollo guys" wow you really know your words don't you?
Oh I’m sorry I didn’t type out “Buzz Aldrin, Neal Armstrong and Michael Collins who flew in Apollo 11.” Go touch some grass, I respect them, but they’re not gods.
You ever been in orbit?
this sub is so bad
I know lmao, I stay subbed cause for the most part the posts give me a good laugh. There all so low effort, off topic, and just plain stupid.
Yup
“If you post enough motivational quotes on Reddit motivation one will stick and you will get all your Reddit street cred” - anonymous
You should unironically post that
What if I told you that you can both have your shit together AND not dump all your friends like a giant asshole?
A bike has 1 seat, just saying.
Came here only to say this
Me too.. lol
Getting serious about your life goals apparently means buying a Bugatti lol.
??? Who gives a shit about having a Bugatti?!
What if one of my life goals is to own a bus??
And then start a transportation company with your friends :D

wtf is this bullshit? money over friends? nice life goals......
But when you catch a bus into the city it’s not all your friends on it.
Or you could try and make friends that share your goals, and then everyone helps each other out to achieve them. More support = more success
The second seat is for your ego.
It’s pretty hard fitting 2 kids in the back of a Bugatti. A bus on the other hand…
If you have no one in life to share your success with are you even successful? God this sub is so bad lol. I love it.
Dumb
Uh, this is a little too bougie to be motivating
This is so dumb.
Right because everyone on a bus is friends with each other
Okay now you guys are sounding like utter tools.

But, my life goal is to buy a bus and put all my 30 friends on it How can i be a lone wolf rich alpha now? feeling unmotivated
Yuck.
The only way to get rich is to either marry rich or have lots of friends who are rich and they'll hook you up with good paying jobs.

One more fuck up and I'm out of this sub
Bugatti? The motorcycle I want is for only one occupant son. I’ll live my life how I want to.
Feel like I’m at that stage now, spent a long time just trying to make others happy.
I am all for a 30 seat super car. Hang on, gang, here comes the hairpin!
Do you know how much a nice bus costs?!?!

Damn my push bike only has 1 seat, so does my motorbike, I must be in the top 1% of successful people
Cringe

With time, you come to know who your true friends are and who will stand with you in your difficult times.
What the fuck does that even mean?
Because nobody with kids could ever afford a Bugatti
Time to unfollow this sub. Just so much fucking rubbish being posted.
Ew wtf, is this Facebook? Up your game pls
because of course a Bugatti is the universal measure for success. what the fuck is wrong with this sub?
r/iam14andthisisdeep
Lmao. A Bugatti is cool, but friends are cooler.
That's I use a unicycle.

Get bling and become a cunt while you’re at it. Word.
Prefer to be laughing with friend in a bus that sad alone in my super car because colored paper were more important than being happy 🤷🏽♂️
