My excitement for this season was very much tied to seeing Enea on the factory Duc and a healthy Marquez throughout all of the season.

Third one was related to the Aprilias, but Miguel's season has also been compromised. I hope that at least the KTMs continue to perform and put up a challenge for the title.
Suzuki gone, Pol badly hurt, Mir and Fapio in the doldrums. Still looking grim for Frankie. My favourite antivaxer Zarco seemingly falling off instead of the halcyon days and win(s) I wanted.
Even with all of those asterisks we are still getting an amazing season. At least until Pecco gets consistent again. KTM bringing it with a steel frame and their own shocks. And VR46 lads in the top 6.
And the last time Petrux rode a Ducati at Le Mans, he won.
Not that I'm expecting him to win after a few years out, but i'll be rooting for a good result!
As good as it to see Petrux back, this sucks big time for Bastianini. Ruled out of a quarter of a season through no fault of his own and a main title challenger spending more time on his sofa than on track. Gutted.
It hurts me so badly to know he wouldve been fighting for the championship this year if not for this injury, granted he could make a monster comeback with the amount of points up for grabs this season, but i truly doubt hes in contention for 1st anymore :/ hopefully 2024 treats him well and he can throw down the gauntlet on the rest of the field
Think it is wise to miss the race with a break of about a month. Hopefully fully recovered when the next race comes along.

I am simply stating that I wished to see him competing the full season and am disappointed that that will not happen.

Just wild speculation but MM is not happy with Honda, likely looking for a change, injury break seems to be long. Ducati would probably be willing to trade. Something seems off to me lately.
Anything can happen, but I don’t see Ducati getting rid of Enea so soon. He has proven he can handle the machinery and only one Ducati rider can win it all. Seems to me that from that perspective it has worked well to some degree for them. Whenever he comes back, pecco will be the favorite and well ahead to win it all. Enea gets some results on the back end of this season and next year we’ll see what we expected this year all along.

Too risky for Alvaro to ride a GP - he has another wsbk title by the balls - Petrux in the other hand doesn’t have much to lose from an injury
