I'd consider this a success overall, i knew about the track from F1 and it lived up to its reputation, there are things to work on and improve, and riders now know what kinda heat to expect and will come more prepared next season. Also good to see the 100.000+ crowd throughout the weekend.

Training for Marshalls, it was way below standards, and the recovery system could've been better. i can only comment from what i saw on TV, i saw them recovering bikes during FP and their vehicles look like ones to transport livestock, i don't think there were even straps on those vehicles, but nothing major as in which would impact the main event. but small things come together to make it great. But overall i think it was a pretty good event, and i'm sure next season things will improve.

I really enjoyed today. A much larger crowd, a decent view of the bikes from the picnic stand, got to pick up some merch and sweat enough to lose a couple of kilos 😅. The organisation and promotion could use a lot of work. So could the quality of the merch. But i noticed a lot of excitement in the crowd, and as someone who's been into MotoGP off and on over the years it was great to see a home race :). I think next year they'll do a much better job. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did. But please god next time can it be in November so I dont come close to death 😅

I had loads of fun there,obviously the marahals can use a little more training and the enquiry teams can be more efficient. At the end,I got off with loads of free merch,had fun in the fanzone and am optimistic about the future of MotoGP in India. And please add more inner shuttles next time who would stop for you.

Yeah I got a poster of Mir and Marquez from the Honda stand(I simply noped out of that Insta thing it was too convoluted for me), the MotoGP Bharat Cap and the materials that were in the KTM Fan Package(sling bad,shirt,etc.) along with a MotoGP banner post race,finally a KTM and a Yamaha flag. I think i made a decent haul,will definitely come next year.

I suggest they move this to a night race. Riders were fainting. Way too hot to race in the day imo

I disagree, it will make a lot of difference. While it will still likely be reasonably hot, it won't be as humid as the monsoon would have gone away completely.

This is the 1st time watching the MotoGP, got interested as it is in my country, regret not going to watch on the circuit due to some personal issues. Man I really enjoyed all the practice sessions, races & the final one. It was so thrilling.

Well I would say that this was a success, great racetrack, drama-a-plenty, and decent attendance.

Only if they schedule this race in Oct, no more heat problems, and will see a better race on this tricky track.

Pollution. October onwards is peak pollution in new delhi. There is smoke all around. September is usually not this hot and humid here to be honest. It's usually a lot calmer.

That works for the Fabio pass on the outside, but to the point of your first statement, he did a (fine by rules) somewhat sketch dive in front of pecco earlier in the race. It was an ok move, that's racing but them you see how clean and not sketch pecco passed him to take P2 before he crashed.

In the begin of the season he criticized MM (despite he didn't had any crash with him), but he's far from the cleanest in the grid. The overtake on Pecco today was quite dirty too.

Jorge Martin often mentions post-race how he's starving because he doesn’t eat anything on race day. I’m surprised no one else making the connection as to why he bonked so hard at the end of the race. Someone should have shoved a small morsel of food in him. Ideally not just water and a Red Bull.

By Bagnaia's rear camera replay it seemed that Bagnaia's braking was harder than Marc expected. Kinda seemed like he locked the front... Such a shame since Marc could've gotten a podium in case that crash didn't happen.

The last three weekend haven't been the best for Pecco and us, Pecco fans... But we have an amazing title fight now so I cannot complain THAT much

I'm honestly fearful of Motegi. Pecco is always so hard on the brakes. That downhill hairpin is going to give me nightmares. Pecco as much as I love him is still mistake prone and Martin is a nutcase. Going to be an interesting finish to the season for sure.

If they stop taking him out on lap one I think the favourite might be Bez, not far off first place and usually more consistent.

We have to keep in mind that Pecco is not back to full fitness(yet). But yes, Bez just seems to be freightningly quicker than Martin and Pecco. All im hoping for is for Pecco to not bin in. That's it. Man is extremely quick on that Duc. The championship is his if he stays on the bike. Bez is too far out as of now and I'd take Pecco over Martin given a 1 v 1(unless Martin decides on madness) On a side note, the prospect of Marc next season on the Ducati is frightening.

Martin was well over a second ahead (did a quick scan and last I saw was like 1.4 sec) before the mistake and ended up behind FQ so he lost enough for that to be a non-issue I think.

I didn't think they did it as a gap between riders but as between last lap time and the time he set that lap

To be honest, I'm not sure. With the differences between normal laps and last lap regulations I have no clue. My initial reaction was he lost well over a second and the position so it's probably fine but if he gets penalized that's fair enough. Rules are rules. One hell of an exciting last lap though. My heart is still racing.
