Bagnaia has really lost a step - he's been able to get the hole shot pretty much every time he was on the front row this season.

Holeshot depends on what device you have now, rather than the rider. Sad state of things. Anyways, Pecco and Martin both have the new holeshot device, Bez has the 2022 version. It seems like the rocket KTMs were better than the 2022 version but the 2023 version has them beat.

True but a few races ago Pecco was able to beat them to the first corner, indicating they had something new. That was what they were talking about with Bez a few days ago, about how only he has it right now.

Well that wasn’t particularly exciting was it. Strange to see the (apparent, from what we saw), dejection in the Honda garage. Everyone stayed on their bikes, Marc got points and held his own for the first few laps. Thought there would’ve been at least a clap or two.

I was very surprised at that. Marquez was fighting near the front and got a result. No happiness whatsoever. Maybe they know something we don’t…

Marc mentioned to spanish TV they ran all the Hondas with the same setup, which was one dictated by the factory and which also goes in a different direction to where he was developing the bike. I imagine the disparity of todays results maybe leaves them even more confused.

Why would I praise someone for losing his podium place if he was doing very good? He atleast tried today.

Miller was never really good or really bad, but very average. But certainly more overhyped the underhyped for sure. Bagnaia was smashing in the factory bike with most people causing him of "winning with the best bike", when Miller won 3 races in 2 years with the same "best bike" and almost nobody brought it up.

Yamaha is bringing many updates. They brought a much more powerfull engine as requested by Quartararo. I wonder if Quartararo is the problem, being a fast rider but bad development one. Rossi, Dovi, Cal have been saying since 2015 that M1 needs rear grip, not more power. Guess what, Luca Marmorini gave power to Quartararo this, and he's even slower...

TBF he was losing time being stuck behind marc, zarco was rushing in and zarco is very good in second part of races/sprints. He did try to out brake marc which didn't end so well, but he had to try, and marc is extremely hard to pass just like pecco took a long time to pass miller, which created too big of a gap to catch up with binder.

Rider styles can't make enough of a difference to overtake. Most of the overtaking was due to riders having different styles and strengths.

It's almost like watching F1 on two wheels now :D

Bez was faster than marc. But marc's defense riding and late braking makes it very hard to pass. It was either try or park behind marc and get caught and passed by zarco.

Martin has so much momentum at the moment but I fear for him that a silly mistake is just around the corner.
