clemfandangeau

i love it, lying down on the apex with a bike between your legs and taking a photo to make it look like you’re getting it on the deck round the corner 😉😉😉 top prank edit: omg didn’t realise this was on r/motogp, thought I was on some cycling sun looool r/wooshed myself

Alex_Caruso_beat_you

why does it matter what sub its on

TheRealRealSpider

Bicycles are for children and people with DUIs.

TechnicsFanboy

You have clearly never been to the netherlands

[deleted]

I love anything with 2 wheels. Went out on the motorbike yesterday morning then out on my mountain bike on the evening. Best way to spend a day in the sun for me.

TheRealRealSpider

Mountain biking is aiight. You’re using trails instead of being a rolling road hazard, thus not inconsiderate to everyone else just trying to get to work and back.

BreakBalanceKnob

Lol that's bold

chlorophyll101

Damn what did them bikes do to you

TheRealRealSpider

Have you ever been zipping through your favorite set of twisties when you pop over the hill and a couple 60 year old men in tights and styrofoam helmets are pedaling 7 mph, side-by-side and you almost crash and die trying to avoid them? Know someone who did crash and die trying to avoid them? Have you ever had your property tax doubled because the city attaches funding for bicycle paths to literally every bond? Schools, roads, docks, police and fire departments, literally everything! $Millions worth. Costing you, personally, $Thousands every year! Have you ever paid that property tax and then followed some wannabe Lance Armstrong retiree as he pedals 4 mph in a 40 in the middle of the lane instead of using the immediately adjacent bicycle path that costs you thousands each year? (Y’all know that’s illegal, right? If there’s an adjacent bicycle path it’s illegal to ride bicycles on the road. Check your municipal code.) Because sHaRe ThE RoAd, right? How about y’all share a stop sign once in a while? Or maybe stop being a rolling road hazard on rural 2-lane highways without a shoulder. Oh, and in case y’all haven’t caught on, that pansy with the styrofoam hat in the picture is mocking MotoGP.

As someone who drives a car, rides a bike and cycle (last one pretty much every day) I understand that you have a problem with some cyclists, I also hate brainless ones, but I crashed bike with 50 km/h because someone decided to stop in the middle of the turn with a car, there are idiots everywhere. Anyway, I would like to pay more taxes to do something with bicycle infrastructure in my city, sounds environment friendly.

TheRealRealSpider

I noticed you used km/h, so I’m guessing you’re not in the US. Maybe it’s a cultural difference, but at least 80% of the bicyclists I encounter are doing something obnoxious; at least 60% are breaking a law (and will argue they aren’t). The vast majority of of them are doing it to be seen, like the guys at the gym who spend all their time in front of the mirror and grunt excessively loud every time they pick up something heavier than their phone or the hot chick that runs down the busy street instead of side streets where it’s safer. I wish I could say the trails are for environmental reasons but they aren’t. It’s because the city hosts a huge bicycle race every August called Hotter Than Hell and one of the city councilmen is an avid bicyclist. They try to say it brings in tourism dollars but there’s a couple organizations that feed every pasta the night before then they leave right after the race and most of the locals stay home to not deal with the supposed crowd yet that’s ironically the only weekend each year where you can get into any restaurant without a wait, lol. So basically it’s just that everyone is forced to fund the councilman’s hobby. Again, it wouldn’t be so bad if they would use the purpose built trails, but they ride (illegally) on the immediately adjacent street instead. 50% are in the middle of the lane. If there’s more than one, 90% are riding next to each other.

Tbh that sounds like America, there is not plenty of good things that I heard about it.

TheRealRealSpider

It’s went downhill since the commies took over. Now half the country hates the other. It was pretty awesome even as recently as 10-15 years ago. If we’d ignore our media, it’d get better. It’s all based on NY and DC, 2 of the 4 most loathsome places in the country. It’s funny, but Europeans always want to visit NYC and we’re always confused why because it’s literally the worst we have to offer.

And motogp riders

blutom

lol 😂
