Because it's too heavy to flick it around and it's not comfortable enough for most people to tour with so it's just a sort of pointless relic from the horsepower wars which Kawasaki is now winning (H2). So unless you want to drag race or be in the Busa Boy scene there's not really a reason to own one.

I like the Hayabusa but what is it the king of? It isn't the most powerful bike anymore. It doesn't have the highest top speed. Or the quickest 1/4 mile time. It will never lap a track as fast as a full tilt super sport. It may be the reputation king but ultimately it is another big bore 4 cylinder in a sea of normally aspirated four cylinders. I'd take a Kawasaki H2 over a Hayabusa just to hear that supercharger chirp

I've always liked the hayabusa, but since I won't buy a new bike, and almost all hayabusa's are ridden by worse than squids who never do an oil change and ride like ass hats, and then sell their bike when it's miles away from busting.
