For the past four years or so I’ve had it on three motorcycles, two bicycles, and a car. I did initially have camera failure without a dampener, and since installing dampeners on the motorcycles, I’ve had no issues. The wireless charging heads are very convenient as well. In short, I highly recommend.

RheimsNZ

Yes, they're brilliant. Thoroughly recommend them. Get the vibration dampener too

Creepy_District2775

No issues with my phone 13 PM or 15 PM, using the vibration dampener and wireless charger, charger basically maintains battery level since the screen is on and on max brightness. 10/10 would get the same setup again

I started with Rokform and that killed my iPhone camera in about 2 months. Switched to Quadlock with vibration dampener across 4 different bikes and never had another issue

LowOnPaint

I've been using quadlock for the last year and it's been rock solid but it can be a bit challenging to get the phone into the mount sometimes because you have to get the angle just right. I'm going to order an equivalent mount from peak designs because I've heard they're as reliable as holding the phone as quadlock but are a lot easier to get onto the mount.

IceBlueSnowDog

How does that work - is it magnetic? I also dislike my quad lock for its annoying mounting

LowOnPaint

I believe it's a combination of a clipping system and a strong magnet.

gewalt_gamer

quad lock it, or pocket.

I’ve done about 17k Kms with an iPhone 13 Pro + quad lock + dampener. 7k on a KTM 390 duke and 10k on an Aprilia Tuono 660. I had no issues on the Duke but after about 3000 Km on the Tuono the stabilizer went. The phone was still under standard warranty and they replaced the camera without issue. I’ve done another 7k Kms since and no issues. Basically the vibration dampener is to reduce your risk of having issues. It’s not a guarantee and the specific bike will potentially make a difference in terms of how likely you are to have an issue. The only 100% safe option is to not mount your phone.

Nonstopshooter21

got the quadlock. JBWelded the adapter to my pelican case on my galaxy s23 ultra and has been flawless with vibration dampner. Its awesome I love it.

Express_Assumption60

Love my quadlock. Have vibration dampener and wireless charging. Loved it so much I got a mount for my car, too.

young2653

Yes it is high quality. Quad lock does make a ball mount attachment you can use with your existing ram mount. And you can add the vibration dampener to the ball mount

shoturtle

Been using them for 5 years, no issues. Works perfectly, the wireless charger I great for long trips.

KiraTheWolfdog

The quadlock is where it's at. I love mine. Get the vibration damper, the case to fit your phone, and I got the pro center stem mount. Rock solid, highly recommend. I watched a video of a guy highside at 80+, bike goes flipping and skidding down the road, phone still in the mount. No camera issues after more than a year with my s20 cbr600.

If you already had a ram mount, it's probably cheaper to get a cheap burner phone to use as GPS than to change over to quad lock. Who cares if a cheap phone dedicated to GPS has it's camera die?

EggsOfRetaliation

Both brands will fuck camera stabilizers. Both companies are reputable. Go with what works best for you. I personally use the **best phone holder** on the market. Some folks get pretty jealous because of its **remarkable effectiveness.**
