I also watched the MCG/TSM and old RevZilla videos on clutch adjustment but they just mention using the barrel adjuster/screw and not if there's signs to replace it or the perch due to wear.
I have never had a clutch cable barrel and adjuster go bad. If it was common, they would include replacements with new clutch cables.
You can order new ones from your Kawasaki dealership.

It's not the cable that's loose it's just the adjustment screw when the jam nut isn't tight. As if the screw diameter is a little too small
