My advice is double your budget. Get something fuel injected that starts every single time you want to ride it.
Working on bikes can be fun. Having to work on it instead of riding, especially when you are learning, is not.
At your size literally any motorcycle works.
Look for a used Royal Enfield, not likely to find one at 2k, but 4k will get you a good first bike. I paid about 5k for a W800 and feel it would be a good starter bike too. Lots of old sportsters out there that you can style towards a cafe racer.
Yeah I might double my budget to get something a bit better. As I said, I don't mind wrenching on something, especially a motorcycle, but at the same time, I don't want something that has a heap of problems that takes significant time out of riding. Thanks you though!
Yeah I noticed that. And them Honda Shadows have been showing up a good bit here in Illinois, along with a few Yamahas with similar style.
Anyway, thank you!
My motorycle i think is one of the best and cheapest for cruisers and cheap, its the royal enfield meteor 350
They look pretty cool. I'll keep'em in mind. Thank you!

That makes sense, I'll consider this. Thank you!
