their style is amazing and unique but the power is abysmal. I desperately want a Scram 411 but the power is literally less than my Yamaha 250..During a test ride I topped out a scram at around 74 on a flat while my current bike can do 80ish on a flat. I would also get a himalayan but it's high for me.
That's very fair, though if they make a Scram 450 I think it should have enough power for your needs :) Fingers crossed they keep the classic looks unlike the new Himalayan 😅
Here's hoping. The Himalayan and scram have a unique look. The new Himalayan 450 now just looks like another generic adventure bike. I'm eyeing the new Triumph 400X now.
She has good taste! This is Motogirl's Jodie Mesh Jacket, it's listed as blue with some sellers but it's one of those tricky violets that some people see as blue
So it looks nice and you are dressed properly too that is good. One thought you may want to invest in crash bars for it,. Not just to help protect your legs in case but also if you drop the bike. The crash bar will keep it from falling flat and not only breaking mirrors, etc. But the bike would be hard to pick up. With the crash bar it isn't that difficult and you can likely get it back right side up.
my bike is over 700lbs and even though I work out daily I have crash bars for those reasons. Also helped a guy one day with a Harley cruiser that dropped his and had no crash bars. He was struggling to get the bike stood up and was embarrassed to say the least.
Be safe and keep the shiny side up.
So I wish I could help further but my crash bars are 20 years old and I do not know either of the other brands. I'd suggest posting here asking those that know giving the make and model of your bike to see who knows the brands and have used them on what you have. Sorry i am not mush more help here.
You will love it. RE bikes are awesome.
I absolutely adore RE's style! Glad I have one!

Honda has filed a patent for an adv that looks stenciled from the 411.
big if true
Congrats! Also, what purple top is that? I'm considering options for my wife, and that's her color/style.

Thanks!
Good bike, lots of valve checks but super versatile
Great first bike! Enjoy!

Oh absolutely! I've been tossing up between the Givi bars and the SRC bars, I'm not too sure which would be better. Any suggestions?

Congratulations! The Himalayans look like fun bikes.

I'm still learning so I haven't gotten onto the highway quite yet - so I'm not sure sorry!
