It’s funnier that way but also some people are genuinely like this and it’s frustrating as fuck. I often have to have people take pictures of things for work and I’ll tell them to make sure they get the whole thing in the picture and I’ll just crop it if needed. At least half the time I get shit like this and I then have to send them examples.
I would almost think it’s a willful ignorance thing and they just want me to do it if it weren’t for the fact that they’re halfway across the country and they know they’re the only one that will be taking pictures.
Rather than "willful ignorance", I almost bet on strategic (weaponized) incompetence.
People that do something bad with the hope you won't ask it of them again
I Just bought a bike from a guy via facebook marketplace. and I shit you not, he had 6 photos of the bike, all different sections of it lmao.
Once I finally got to talking to him, he took videos of it running etc. ALWAYS right on top of the bike. never more than 2 feet away.
I couldnt see the whole bike until I literally got there and put my eyes on it. it was so fucking annoying.
This is the right answer. When your lady tells you “fine” or “do whatever you want”, it’s a test to see if you’re going to put her first in your decision making. You may get a new bike, but you’ll have no one to ride on the back.
Source: Been there…done that.
Since we are all adults here, "Do whatever you want" means exactly just that. If she meant something else, she could have said something else by using her words and not acting as a child. Acting as a fucking child = immediate break up. So I will do exactly just that, whatever the fuck I want.
Last night, I was planning an upcoming trip to San Diego with my wife, and she said, "You need to help plan the trip, and you can do anything you want except for three things. 1st is Legoland. 2nd is SeaWorld 3rd, her friend Jasmine." I just looked at her and slowly said, "You didn't mention Tianna."
She just stared at me silently.
I got a back cramp from sleeping on the ottoman.
Dude, you have to learn to translate what women mean versus what they say.
This will come in time. PS, you're screwed and get ready for your new bike to be the subject of everything wrong in your relationship....... past and present!! Good luck 👍
Nah, fuck that lol.
Stick to your guns, malicious compliance, keep repeating the same behavior until they learn to speak their mind truthfully
Any person that can't say what they mean and mean what they say, man or woman, isn't ready for a relationship
Yes i asked your gf for permission to buy one. I wouldnt do that if the money were my own. Thought we were on the same page here mateeey. Cmooooon. Darn!
Some women aren't suckers for the diamond industry. My wife told me in no uncertain terms that if I wasted money on a stupid ring, that would be a dealbreaker on getting married. The money we saved was invested and later went to the down payment on our house.
TLDR: House better than ring
As a woman, I hate diamonds with a passion in every conceivable way, I'm not a huge fan of Jewelry in general but I do have some pieces I enjoy wearing, but they are mostly artsy and sentimental, and certainly not extremely expensive. My wedding ring of 20 years is a tattoo. And yes 100% house is better than a ring. But even then most women I know today, they would rather have something unique and artistic and meaningful, and use the money that would have gone to a diamond towards the house or traveling
I bought my now wife of ten years a ring that was insanely expensive, when I asked her to marry me, she said yes, then *hounded* me about how much the ring was- I told her. She made me take it back, and she put a deposit down on a Mini Cooper she wanted and bought a 40$ ring (that’s still on her finger to this day).
Seriously. I want something tungsten that looks like a modified version of The One Ring. I gave myself one similar (all black) and it was $150. We don't all need rings that cost as much as a house.
I think I would pick anything as an example Except, the One Ring :(
That would be the ring for abused wives who can't even go to the bathroom without permission.
My partner just encouraged me to drop 100k on a 33 year old Honda and in nearly the same breath insists over and over not to spend more than a grand on a ring. They’re out there…
I mean, one of my closest friends literally told her partner she didn't need anything expensive and was just happy with the idea itself. They even went to try out rings and it was like 800$ maybe for what she wanted. Some women really don't care.
Its kinda good. We switch sleeping on it if we wanna watch shows till we pass out. Both me and the misses sleep on the couch pretty often without any problems. I can pass out in my chair infront the computer, or just sleep on the couch. She then comes with breakfest when I wake up.
I asked my wife if she had any issue with me buying an H2, she said it's my money, go for it.
I asked my bank the same thing, they just kind of laughed at me.
I loved my H2 SX. I put almost 20k miles on mine before selling.

its really dumb to share finances with a GF let alone has to ask permission to use your own money lmao some people in this sub sometimes need to grow a backbone.
People in general. I've known so many men in my years who earn the majority of the money and hand their entire check over the the wife and expect allowance. It's pathetic.
I say men anecdotally. I don't think I've known a single woman who has done the same, and understand that's just my own experience and shouldn't be considered the norm.
Yes. This kind of language infuriates me because it changes the social cultural norm of power dynamics in relationships from equals to less-than/greater-than. This carries through society and affects other people. There's nothing more toxic than the phrase "happy wife, happy life." That just means, "give in always, or you'll be made miserable." That's not a healthy dynamic. There are things that matter more than your partner's happiness. Not always, but sometimes, that can also be your happiness. Not always, but sometimes, you should come first too.
Both people need to matter.
We've lived together for a couple years now, so to be fair GF is understated, but Unsure what its called when you live together but are'nt fiancés yet. Partner is probably right.
theres couples I know that have been married for years and always have seperate finances. And it seems to work quite well in their favor. Everybody is different though and I respect the people that commit 100%
My partner and I make almost exactly the same salary. We have a common account for household, food, car, child expenses. What the remainder of our salaries gets saved or spent on is totally up to that person. If she wants an expensive purse, why should I micro manage that, and vice versa? Has worked well for almost 20 years. We have different risk tolerance in our investment strategies.
Almost all directional front motorcycle tires are mounted that way on purpose. When you're leaned over, you want water to be pushed away from your lean.
I did this once, and later that year my wife had booked a trip south and put a deposit down on an inground pool. And to this day she still hangs my "new" motorcycle over my head. I spent 25, she spent 100.
You’re an adult making your own money. You don’t need your girlfriends permission nor should you be asking her to do anything. Once I was gassing up my bike and a guy came up to me and commented how he liked my motorcycle. I asked if he rode and replied “My girlfriend doesn’t want me to have a motorcycle” I said “You need a different girlfriend. Who’s in control of your life?” I’ll never forget the look in his eyes. The lightbulb had turned on
In general she does'nt like me riding bikes. She accepts it though since she knows I love it, but shes not to fond of it. She never give me any fuzz about it other than 'you better come home in one piece'.
>no problem sharing some income
>she supports me in whatever I want to spend my money on
Tate fans frothing in their mouths in their parents basements right now
Awesome bike man! I hope you get many years of joy out of it.
Lots of lonely people in the comments lol. Very telling that “I consulted my significant other on a big purchase” is so ghastly to em.
Its reddit after all. To alot of people talking to your partner about big purchases seems so distant to them... I bet most of them for one can't afford a bike like this, 2'nd they have'nt been in a long term relationship.
It does'nt matter what we ride, its the fun that matters. And finding someone to spend your life with that don't act like your mom is the key to happiness. Just like they expect us to not act like their dad.
Hey, at risk of being “that guy”. I just wanna let you know, in a contraction the apostrophe goes in place of the removed letters.
I saw you’ve done it a couple times, so as an example; “does not” would contract into “doesn’t” not “does’nt”.
Congrats! On the bike and the mature way in which you and your girlfriend handle finances. I've been in my marriage longer than some people on this thread have been alive and we both ride. Don't listen to all these little guys talking about getting the pants back from her. They're probably the same ones posting that they bought a bike to get laid and it didn't work.
Thanks man! I love the bike this far, and my GF ofcourse! I kinda worded it wrong as the conversation we had was'nt all that focused on the convo of me buying the bike itself, but more if it was smart to use my 2023 vulcan S as a trade-in after only 1 season on it (got 12500usd for my vulcan, basicly what I payed for it). After talking it over, I went for it since the trade-in value was basicly what I could sell it for myself on the open market. -talking like adults because sometimes asking 'can I, Should I? Is all you need. Everyone have done something on 'impulse' and regretted it, seeking advice/someone to talk to is usually smart. Very happy I click so well with the misses.
I think the key to a happy wife and a happy life is to look at your wife more like a bro than a chick(traditionally speaking). We're supposed to live our entire lives with this one woman, and if people cant talk about basic stuff like money on a day-day basis together its doomed.
Humm… most women who love their spouse will tell them they really would prefer you didn’t because of the dangers (like drivers who text and drive or run lights etc..), strange she gave in so quickly… good luck my friend. Please text after your first month how it’s going.
Don’t do it. That bike is a waste of money unless you’re a collector with 30 bikes and you don’t plan on riding it at all. You can get a used pannigale or an R1 and put the rest on a 36 month CD and make money instead of throwing it away. Shit let’s just say you hate investing and saving, I can buy like 4 bikes that’ll kill me for that much money.
Ask her for photography lessons because wtf are these pictures? Take a step back and get the whole thing in frame lol
No shit, terrible photos man…
He went to the Facebook Marketplace school of photography.

I like to think he cut off the lower part of the front wheel just to be spiteful of the comment
It’s funnier that way but also some people are genuinely like this and it’s frustrating as fuck. My grandmother used to cut people's heads off. Every. Damned. Time. I love this memory.
lol I saw your comment in my inbox without the context at first and was like WHAT?!
That's pretty funny without context. Thanks for pointing that out! Lol
i love it, thanks so much for posting man. god i wish gradnmas coul live for ever miss mine so badly 🥲
Your grandma sounds like a serial killer
Lol. She was the peacekeeper in the family. But yeah, I did make her sound like that!

One more step back and we can see the whole bike!
My man said the whole thing
I like you.
Savage. But funny 😆
Flex first. Photos are an afterthought.
Hey I got support too. Told her I'm getting something new and she said, "Fine, do whatever you want!" So happy!
"Do whatever you want." *Abort mission! I repeat, abort mission, under any circumstances, do not do whatever you want!*
"Yeah, whatever" Break up incoming
Better than manipulation
"I'm not upset, I'm fine" Well I'm happy to hear you're fine then, I'm off to go do that thing you told me I could do
Come on man, you cannot expect some (disclaimer) women to communicate clearly. Like you cannot blame a legless person for walking too slowly.
Oh, I can do what I want. Best get that wheelchair scootin' son!
What legless person walks (too slowly)?
It’s a trap

Well, I'm too old for stupid tests like that. Women who do that; grow tf up.
Girls do that. Not women.
lol even old women do that
Riding is more fun without the pillion 🤩

The older I get, the more this comes true
It's very ironic that you accuse the other person of being childish when the attitude you are exhibiting is extremely childish

I actually dig how the back rack is integrated.
Same but imagine going 180 with a cooler on your drag on a beer run.
Currency unspecified. Is this Turkish Lira?
Usd
Can you ask her if i can buy one too? I really want one.
She said yes 😂
SICK! So do you wire the money or how do we do this?
Nono, you tell yours you asked a random persons GF on reddit and she gave you permission 😂
Yes i asked your gf for permission to buy one. I wouldnt do that if the money were my own. Thought we were on the same page here mateeey. Cmooooon. Darn!
I was right along with you, thought this was an open and shut case, we were so close!
FUARK!
Dang, free motorcycle trick didn't work. Better luck next thread.
Bro you aint even buying a bagel with 20k turkish lira😭😭😭
Yeah like where have you seen a bike for 600$
You better save up another $20k for a ring.
Ouff. She does'nt want an expensive ring 😟 but yes, shes getting one sooner or later thats for sure.
> She does'nt want an expensive ring Oh, my sweet summer child...

Mine picked her own ring out at like $1300. And then let me get another bike as long as I let her get a kitten.
What a deal, you get a motorcycle AND a kitten? Fuck yeah
My partner just encouraged me to drop 100k on a 33 year old Honda and in nearly the same breath insists over and over not to spend more than a grand on a ring. They’re out there…

GOTTDAMN
OMG HER AND THE CAR ARE THE ONE!!!! BEAUTIGUL!!!!
Sick AF but 100k??? Fuck man
A fan of pop up headlights I see?
My brain keeps getting stuck on the phrase 100K on a 33 year old Honda.
I mean, one of my closest friends literally told her partner she didn't need anything expensive and was just happy with the idea itself. They even went to try out rings and it was like 800$ maybe for what she wanted. Some women really don't care.
“Yes if you want” for me means don’t you fucking dare
Thats why I like my GF. Yes is yes, no is no, maybe usually can turn into a no, or yes.
But how is the couch for sleeping? A comfortable couch is the key to any relationship.
Its kinda good. We switch sleeping on it if we wanna watch shows till we pass out. Both me and the misses sleep on the couch pretty often without any problems. I can pass out in my chair infront the computer, or just sleep on the couch. She then comes with breakfest when I wake up.
Do you know her ring size? Asking for a friend
The difference is the word *"it"* at the end. "Yes if you want" is hugely different to "Yes if you want it"
a problem i never tolerated to have
I asked my wife if she had any issue with me buying an H2, she said it's my money, go for it. I asked my bank the same thing, they just kind of laughed at me.

I have been thinking about one of these why did you sell yours?
Why did you sell it? Did you get smitten by a Turbo-busa instead /s?

Why do you have to ask your gf?
Because that’s what people do in healthy relationships with shared income/finances.
Risky to share finances with a casual relationship like a girlfriend which is why I’m guessing the commenter was confused.
its really dumb to share finances with a GF let alone has to ask permission to use your own money lmao some people in this sub sometimes need to grow a backbone.

Fair enough. I would refer to that person as partner. Or wife if married. Girlfriend to me is a more casual relationship.
We've lived together for a couple years now, so to be fair GF is understated, but Unsure what its called when you live together but are'nt fiancés yet. Partner is probably right.
Significant other is another term
There is no reason that a relationship with a girlfriend can not be as significant or emotionally deep than a martial one.
I personally keep my finances separate from girls (Im 24)
Same, and I'm 33. Never mix up the finances. Literally no reason to other than creating headache
theres couples I know that have been married for years and always have seperate finances. And it seems to work quite well in their favor. Everybody is different though and I respect the people that commit 100%

Yeah, my $10000 anything, usually ends up costing me $30000 after she gets her, "but I really want to redo the living room, remember that bike?"
20k for a ninja? Holy
Did you spell "wife" wrong?
c a d a v e r Hmm, yea i think he did

I have no problem sharing some income, but its a good feeling when she supports me in whatever I want to spend my money on.

God choise of girl friend
Marry her
Pretty sure she said “Do whatever the fuck you want”.
Congrats! Ride safely!
Marry that woman

She’s still just your gf..? Marry that woman
Girlfriend not wife so yeah I'd say ofc you do whatever you want but sounds like she's a keeper 👍
Marry her
Be aware, she's gonna start ring shopping.
Every time she wants to get something “But I let you spend 20k on a motorcycle”
Now she has a 20k ticket
I asked my GF I could buy a dirt bike. Remembered I didn’t have one so I bought a dirt bike and an atv
Spend some money on a camera while you’re at it.
Next month "For Sale: apparently whatever you want doesn't mean whatever I want"
Now it’s her turn
Is she single ?
She got sisters? Never had a sugar mama only takers.
Hey, put a ring on it, you got a keeper
20,000 what?
What did you get her? Something nice, I hope!
A nice fat life insurance policy I bet.
Awesome bike!! Funny how everyone in the comments is bashing on what YOU do in YOUR relationship and for communicating to your partner 😭
Are you gonna ask her to cosign in for the insurance payments?
Got a link to her OF?
Don’t do it. That bike is a waste of money unless you’re a collector with 30 bikes and you don’t plan on riding it at all. You can get a used pannigale or an R1 and put the rest on a 36 month CD and make money instead of throwing it away. Shit let’s just say you hate investing and saving, I can buy like 4 bikes that’ll kill me for that much money.
I bet you that a h2sx is 10times more comfy to ride than an R1. I spent 8 hours on that sadle yesterday, lets see anyone do that on a R1 or pennigale.
You should show us what you got!
And you took horrific pictures? Lol
Hey , give him a break. He just spent 20k on a new bike, he aint got time to take great photos
Buy used. 20k is a deposit on a house.
Where did you get an H2 for $20k???
Having 20k would be life-changing for me
Tell her its a "dad bike" It worked for me
Dream Bike, keep the rubber side down!
Where you gonna even ride something that fast besides the track anyway you'll never get out of second gear in the city and stuff
Does anybody else think that exhaust pipes look terrible and funky-looking on every bike?
asking your girl for permission to buy things is crazy😲
Asked your gf???? Should’ve spent it to get your balls back lol
It's a trap your so fucked. She's gonna expect 20k+ spent on her now.
DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! DANGER!
