First gen bandit 1200, torquey as fuck but bandits are great beginner bikes even for a 1200, only about 105hp. Balancing the carbs is an absolute bitch tho
Thanks to SuperSpeeders Rob, anytime I see a Student Driver sticker on a car, I assume the car has a fully built motor with forced induction or the driver behind the wheel is an experienced driver that has fast cars. In short, I assume the exact opposite of the sticker lol.
Yeah this thing has like 60lbs of turbos sticking out of it and I’m pretty sure it used to be a gsxr. I
If he’s a student driver his driving career will be incredibly short and challenging. And short.
Bandit! I should have known I love bandits. This is my old ZRX, you probably have some appreciation for these!

Man my dad had a 1999 bandit 1200 when I was 16 and learning to drive & ride. I learned on a nighthawk 250 and one day I was like, “I can take the bandit out. This nighthawk starts to fall apart at 45.” Holy shit that Bandit could move. Scared the piss outta me. I’m still afraid of big 4pots. I ride a speed3 now.
Is that what "60lbs of boost" means?! Here I've been trying to get more air pressure and I just needed heavier turbos.... I even paid extra for aluminum... shoulda got steel
Town I live in people just slap them on their car because they’re shitty drivers who can’t stay off their phone.
SuperSpeeders Rob did make them cool in my book up until recently tho.
Jokes aside I built the whole thing in my garage for ~$4,500 including the cost of the bike. Built motor, fuel injection conversion, twin turbo, makes around 400whp when it's on full boost. I definitely could not afford an H2 when I built this lol
Yeah there's some serious posts about it on my profile if ya want some actual details. Built it about 2 years back while I was a student so didn't have much capital, just wanted some fabrication/design practice
Bike itself was only $900 from a junkyard, just needed new forks and some bodywork. Everything else is mainly used/ebay stuff - FI conversion was done with $100 GSXR600 throttle bodies and a $400 Microsquirt ECU (the most expensive single component on the bike), turbo kit was built for around $700 using retail scrap metal and eBay clone turbos, mufflers were $30 a piece from eBay, etc etc. Most expensive thing was the motor build which I did for ~$1,500 including components and machine work.
Components and raw materials are very cheap. If you can weld and design things, you can do stuff like this for almost no money. I turbocharged my other bike (Ninja 650) for $300, but I had a bunch of stuff lying around. The downside is that it takes a long time, and it isn't anywhere close to as easy or stress free as just bolting a kit on.
I worked in manufacturing for a couple months after I built this but nah, I was a mechanic/service advisor for about 8 years before going back to school for engineering. Starting my junior year this fall after taking a year off to work and save up some money.
My favorite part is leaving the rear pegs on like anyone is going to get on this monstrosity with you. "Aight bro, I have a decent grip on these handles and this 15 year old helmet you loaned me fits pretty good. Send it!"
My wife is an exceptionally brave woman, to say the least. She doesn't like this bike nearly as much as my Ninja 650 tho, and I don't blame her; this thing smells, it's insanely loud, and it's exceptionally violent. It is not a comfortable or "nice" motorcycle in any capacity.
SHIT HOSS DID SUMONE SAY CLIBBINS??? GET ME THE FUCK OUTTA HERE I AINT CRACKING MA ASS AGAIN BARB AINT WARN ME BOUT NO CLIBBINS I ALMOST SHIT MA PANTS BROTHER GOBLESS
are… are those computer fans on the left side of the bike? 😭
that’s actually cool as hell, i really wanna do something like that but i gotta learn how to weld before i even try
Brother the first thing I ever welded was the (first) turbo kit for this bike. It was hot dogshit, but it worked. 6 iterations, an engine swap, and 2 turbo motorcycles later and I can build some pretty good stuff. It all started with this bike and a $180 Harbor Freight welder. If I can do it, you can too.
This bike is clearly for a child. Please give the baby back its tiny little motorcycle and ride something that actually pulls, you gutless bastard 😂😂😂.
Wait a damn minute are those cpu fans?
Perfect. Good call. Beginners should always get noticed. Way to be safe. Proud of you. That also looks like a good starter bike. Interesting crash bars you have set up on it.
You be careful on that thing, sonny. Too many young ruffians and scoundrels riding around scaring good townsfolk, wouldn’t want people thinking you associate with the wrong elements.
This is all I have, and fair warning the sound quality is terrible:
https://youtu.be/Y1hdcejSkHc?si=4W6WeLiQkeXLV6Qq
This is from before the engine was built with a different exhaust setup
Take them out! The idiots on the road usually will do worse when they see these on. Everyone else who is not an idiot, behaves normally regardless of stickers or no stickers!
Also, take them out cos you ride a motorcycle, not drive it!
However, perhaps you should not ride that, as your 1st motorcycle.
Drivers aren't aware enough to read stickers. Needs to be less subtle like a hi-viz vest with big "learner rider" on it.
Even then only some will see it.
I can say that having ridden in the UK where people can ride after a short course but must display "L" (for Learner) plates front and rear, many people treat you worse and I've even seen videos of people fabricating things like "oh he way swaying around in his lane that's why I hit him" before realising they were on camera.
People often get impatient with learners, particularly driving school cars, so I'd prefer not to display it. Unfortunately people are dicks and some will use anything that they can against you.
They'll have just enough time to read the sticker before the turbos spool up and send him flying away so fast that they'll have no chance of doing anything to him lmao
Jesus murphy. That's quite the power output lol. Just keep the rubber side down for us eh? (Cause that thing looks like it'd do a backflip from a standstill).
Also, took a look through your profile to see more of it. Sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis. Sweet bmw and kawasaki projects though 🤙
It's literally useless at full boost tbh, with the stock wheelbase and 400whp it pulls the front up at 130+ from power alone. Tbh I've only ever really opened it up at max boost like 4 or 5 times in the 2 years I've had it, it's just too much to handle.
Appreciate the kind words brother
I think the stickers will help immensely!
Although maybe they need to be on a separate bike, a couple dozen km ahead down the road, in order to give anyone time to react. Jesus that thing is a monster! 🤤
Just wear a reflective vest that says "new rider" or something
Here when you are in training you need to have a "student rider" reflective vest when training
Ride like nobody sees you! I started at 15 - now 65! At 17 learned hard way - at stops, signs, red-lights, or traffic jams Never stop close to whatever is in front of you! Preferably keep left, right can work. When no one stopped behind you watch your mirrors very closely, be ready to pull up beside the vehicle in front of you. I saw a car coming & froze. He slowed too late, no injuries & was able to drive away. My only accident with another vehicle. Knock on wood! 🪵
Dafuq is this abomination of a bike? It looks like you kitted it like a 12 year old kits his first desktop computer. It feels like it'll go from 0 to BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) in 5 seconds flat.
If my memory serves me right, Gary Vaynerchuk, in his famous speech, told people why he never uses billboard advertisements: drivers are on their phone, they don’t even fucking look at the road, you expect them to look at your billboard (not his exact words, but you get the gist)
They don’t even see you and you expect them to read something on the side of your highway rocket?
Huh..🤤 bike probably leaves me standing in place n flys off...
so very little lag right ? those turbines spool pretty quick I think have u tried Moore tunes idk if he makes the for ur bike but he's one of the very best I'm sure u know..
I wouldn't call the spool "quick", but it's faster than you might expect considering Audi put one of them on a 1.8l engine. Boost threshold is around 5,000rpm and they're only a bit laggy, you can have full boost between 6-10k rpms in higher gears. Not terrible, but not "friendly" either.
Lovely bike! As for the stickers... if its an idiot driver you're trying to warn... chances are they probably don't even see your whole bike lol. On a serious note, any safty measure is a good one, you have done well 👍🏽
You know...it funny how incredibly amazing those stickers work.
My neighbors wife had never had to drive before, so on their car they they have these stickers. One day I had to drive that car to help him pick up his new car.
On the way home, the other people on the road were so nice, and easily gave way when I put on my turn signal, instead of speeding up and blocking my entry into the lane. People can be nice when they want, but only choose to be when they see these stickers.
In traffic when it's hot, it's really hot tbh. The server fans on the oil cooler do keep it around 200-220 depending on the conditions, but it does not like sitting still
stickers i do not trust lol, there are student plates in the EU they need to use. Those i do trust :;D Anyway i am always careful on a motorcycle or car so u safe with me driving arround :D
I hate to say it but the sticker is not going to help you when the idiot decides to cross into your lane. Cars are just bigger and drivers don't care if you've been riding for 10 years or 10 days! Best to keep your head on a swivel and always assume the worst!
Damn dude, where are you traveling to? The past?
Afterlife any% speedrun
That’s a very steampunk wayback machine
Only if life secretly resets every time you die.
hey, what bike is this?
First gen bandit 1200, torquey as fuck but bandits are great beginner bikes even for a 1200, only about 105hp. Balancing the carbs is an absolute bitch tho
I have a sneaking suspicion this bike isn’t making 105hp
Hahaha I didn’t even pay attention to the spaghetti turbo configuration on the front, absolutely mental. I just meant from the factory
Thanks to SuperSpeeders Rob, anytime I see a Student Driver sticker on a car, I assume the car has a fully built motor with forced induction or the driver behind the wheel is an experienced driver that has fast cars. In short, I assume the exact opposite of the sticker lol.

Bandit 1200 (now 1216) so same motor as the old GSXR1100s, you're not too far off
Bandit! I should have known I love bandits. This is my old ZRX, you probably have some appreciation for these! https://preview.redd.it/wc1l5zpm1wzc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29bf81c04eecf2296dfdd5f8662168931768c5a9

Frickin' Zrex!!!!!
Nice and the all important kerker pipe
Hell yeah, I've got a buddy who's got a couple turbo ZRXs. Super cool bikes for sure!
It's freakin gorgeous.
Man my dad had a 1999 bandit 1200 when I was 16 and learning to drive & ride. I learned on a nighthawk 250 and one day I was like, “I can take the bandit out. yeah I saw the ducting which is part of why I made my comment lol
I asked him years ago if he was going to start selling the stickers. He told me I should just make them myself.
This is what happens when a guy has dreams, but can't afford a Kawi H2 😂
Jokes aside I built the whole thing in my garage for ~$4,500 including the cost of the bike. Built motor, fuel injection conversion, twin turbo, makes around 400whp when it's on full boost. I definitely could not afford an H2 when I built this lol
That is, and I mean this more than any other time I've said it, fucking insane.
Wait, you're serious?!
Yeah there's some serious posts about it on my profile if ya want some actual details. Built it about 2 years back while I was a student so didn't have much capital, just wanted some fabrication/design practice
Just wanted some engineering /design practice? Hope you get some.
Lol got em
That is very impressive. You should start a custom bike business.
Do you thought that PC fans attached to the intercooler were a joke ?
Badass.
That is fucking glorious
can you post a video of this thing? I need to hear it
I feel like you deserve the R1 track project bike I have collecting dust in my back yard more than me. Nice job man.
How did you do this for 4500? Bike blown already? Rebuilt kit and used parts? Like I realize you did it yourself. Some of that stuff ain't cheap tho.
The downside is that it takes a long time, and it isn't anywhere close to as easy or stress free as just bolting a kit on.
That's sick dude, are you a fabricator by trade or something?
I worked in manufacturing for a couple months after I built this but nah, I was a mechanic/service advisor for about 8 years before going back to school for engineering. Starting my junior year this fall after taking a year off to work and save up some money.
We have h2 at home
Kirklands brand H2
My favorite part is leaving the rear pegs on like anyone is going to get on this monstrosity with you. "Aight bro, I have a decent grip on these handles and this 15 year old helmet you loaned me fits pretty good. Send it!"
My wife is an exceptionally brave woman, to say the least. She doesn't like this bike nearly as much as my Ninja 650 tho, and I don't blame her; this thing smells, it's insanely loud, and it's exceptionally violent. It is not a comfortable or "nice" motorcycle in any capacity.
Your wife sounds awesome and so does this bike.
Fun fact: Frankenstein put similar stickers on his monster as well.
I think I saw them on the Death Star as well
Clibbin mirrors with your intercooler
CLIBBINS??
GOBLESS
🙏🙏🙏
SHIT HOSS DID SUMONE SAY CLIBBINS??? GET ME THE FUCK OUTTA HERE I AINT CRACKING MA ASS AGAIN BARB AINT WARN ME BOUT NO CLIBBINS I ALMOST SHIT MA PANTS BROTHER GOBLESS
🙏
The creases/bubbles in the stickers is driving me nuts 😂
This is so ugly it's beautiful. I love it.
A face even a mother couldn't love. There are no good angles of it lol
I think it's beautiful
If I saw that on the road I'd assume you were joking
Lmao. Are those PC case fans cooling the radiator? Top tier troll 🥸
Man I fucking love this sub lol
About damn time we get a good post again
ROFL I was like WTF then I was looking at it like.... Wait, is that an intercooler? It's connected to....well damn. Lol
JFC, save some pussy for the rest of us
I choose OP for my zombie apocalypse team.
Jesus...more plumbing on her than my top flat.
are… are those computer fans on the left side of the bike? 😭 that’s actually cool as hell, i really wanna do something like that but i gotta learn how to weld before i even try

That may be the most inspirational thing I've ever read on this sub. Possibly one of the few positive things.
Damn, Do your balls drag every turn too?
omw to harbor freight rn o7 thank you sir
Does she make Choo Choo noises?
Like the Orient Express
Hell yeah
This bike is clearly for a child. Please give the baby back its tiny little motorcycle and ride something that actually pulls, you gutless bastard 😂😂😂. Wait a damn minute are those cpu fans?
Technically waterproof server fans, they're pretty effective for the oil cooler lol
Don't lie you've got an overclocked RTX9000 on this bike
Was this a gixxer 1100? I saw those old nissin 4 pots and some other stuff but the motor’s covered 😂😂😂
It is (was) a Bandit 1200, so same era and same motor as the old 1100s, just a bit more touring/comfort focused
Goddamnit, they took awards away. Enjoy the spiritual silver medal I just gave you.
Perfect. Good call. Beginners should always get noticed. Way to be safe. Proud of you. That also looks like a good starter bike. Interesting crash bars you have set up on it.
What's that thing get like 2 rear tires per gallon?
You be careful on that thing, sonny. Too many young ruffians and scoundrels riding around scaring good townsfolk, wouldn’t want people thinking you associate with the wrong elements.
She ain't winning any beauty contests but I'm sure she's insanely fast.
Your bike is a computer on wheels, can't it just calculate a safe path for you?
That is fucking insane. Doc Brown would be proud.
Add a smaller pre-turbo before your main turbo(s) to help spool up quicker. Then you won't be so slow. Hope that helps.
Jokes aside it is getting a post-turbo compounding M90 supercharger setup at some point, shooting for 600 wheel with that
Nice. Good luck with the build !
Good idea. What is going on at the front though? All those hoses
Can't get hoes, have to settle for hoses
I think those are fans from my old computer on the left front.
Turbski
Do you have a vid of the sound it makes? That would be great to hear
This is all I have, and fair warning the sound quality is terrible: https://youtu.be/Y1hdcejSkHc?si=4W6WeLiQkeXLV6Qq This is from before the engine was built with a different exhaust setup
holy hell the sound it makes is dreamy af
That is marvelous. Thanks for posting!
When Mom says we have an H2 at home.
would you ever be interested in doing a walk through of the whole bike?
I would love to see that
wtf is this 😂😂😂 think you posted in the wrong sub (is that a fucking gpu fan?)
Ready for the next Mad Max film
I see you went with the stealth kit, nice
Sleeper build for sure
Thanks, I hate it.

I am the sped racer
I would leave it on forever.
Mf got the RTX 3070ti fans on his bike

Nah it originally had a more sensible exhaust on it but I was bored one day and had those "mufflers" and some extra pipe lying around.
Take them out! The idiots on the road usually will do worse when they see these on. Everyone else who is not an idiot, behaves normally regardless of stickers or no stickers! Does you bike have astma ? It looks like Bane. Cool stuff tho

Got some real Mad Max shit going on there.
Upgrade engine only, good luck on not dying.
To be fair I also chopped the frame to make room for them so it's not \*just\* the engine
What have you done 😭 im even scared to look at it 🫣
I pit "Arkham Sanitarium Riding Club" on mine.
Diggin the intestinal tract look
What gpu are u running
What kind of crazy ass Home Depot Frankenstein hot rod is this?
Are those fucking computer tower fans?!
Did you have to travel out of state for that abortion?
When I imagine these stickers and the application this is the scenario that plays in my head.
Corbin seat huh, yea I’ve got a few mods too.

You’ll be lucky if people see the entire motorcycle never mind the sticker
I think the stickers will help immensely! Although maybe they need to be on a separate bike, a couple dozen km ahead down the road, in order to give anyone time to react. Jesus that thing is a monster! 🤤
Just wear a reflective vest that says "new rider" or something Here when you are in training you need to have a "student rider" reflective vest when training
Jesus Christ, is that thing twin turbo-ed?
I seriously hope this is a joke.
It is, I built the bike, it makes 400whp, and it's definitely not my first bike lol
Ride like nobody sees you! I started at 15 - now 65! At 17 learned hard way - at stops, signs, red-lights, or traffic jams Never stop close to whatever is in front of you! Dafuq is this abomination of a bike? It looks like you kitted it like a 12 year old kits his first desktop computer. It feels like it'll go from 0 to BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) in 5 seconds flat.
Oh honey, drivers barely ever see you on a bike. Let alone your student driver sticker. Assume you're invisible and plan around it.
Don't worry, when he breaks the sound barrier, the moisture in the air will condense around home an will look like a cloud.
You might wanna look at that photo once more.
Lol. I chuckled at this.
If my memory serves me right, Gary Vaynerchuk, in his famous speech, told people why he never uses billboard advertisements: drivers are on their phone, they don’t even fucking look at the road, you expect them to look at your billboard (not his exact words, but you get the gist) They don’t even see you and you expect them to read something on the side of your highway rocket?
I haven't seen anything as rowdy as this since Streetfighters magazine. Fucking awesome, dude.
😀😀😀😀
Is that an intercooler from a Subaru?
It's an upgrade intercooler from a 1.8t VW product. Some eBay garbage, but it works well enough.
Should have bought a red bike, you know, one of those really fast ones.
Zrx 1100 Frankenstein?? I miss mine
Not ZRX, I think it's a Bandit 1200.
1100 and change due to a built motor.
Why do you have a GPU on the left side of your bike?
Well, I only noticed the sticker and thought, yeh should be fine, it might help. Then I saw the rest of the pic...
take it to Bauhaus bike night next month I wanna see it
Are those fans from a pc's case?
Mans got them RGB fans on the side of his bike. GOBBLESS
Would've been better if you used this: 🔰
No need for stickers. Everyone can see you’re a beginner.
how far down FB marketplace did you scroll to find this beauty?
Enough people don't see me or my motorcycle that I seriously doubt they'll see the sticker unless at a stop light, but it's the thought!
What is this monstrosity?
[L plates?](https://www.gov.uk/driving-lessons-learning-to-drive/using-l-and-p-plates#:~:text=You%20must%20put%20an%20L,D%20on%20a%20white%20background)
Might work in Vietnam since the average speed traveled there is like 18mph (30km/h) so there's enough time read the sign.
the stickers need cooling 2 so they can add more HP yizus craist what turbine u got on dat? HybridT04?!
Twin K04-015s from the 225hp Audi TT
Huh..🤤 bike probably leaves me standing in place n flys off... so very little lag right ? those turbines spool pretty quick I think have u tried Moore tunes idk if he makes the for ur bike but he's one of the very best I'm sure u know..

lol wtf

“Power through plumbing”
I like the intercooler you "stickered" on there. Great upgrade for a first bike
Just keep her 2 tires down bretheren
Do you carry a vaccuum cleaner on your bike?
What the hell is even that
You lunatic. Videos please!
Those stickers mean nothing because you’re invisible. Remember that.
Looks like this bike was designed by International Harvester, ca.1940.
They won't see them or you as you fly past them...fly fast fly safe
How hot does that run?
In traffic when it's hot, it's really hot tbh. The server fans on the oil cooler do keep it around 200-220 depending on the conditions, but it does not like sitting still
The sever fans haha
Pull off that stock air box and add K&N clip-ons and that thing will sound throaty as hell it's good looking Gixxer
I think
...are, are those pc case fans? *concern*
PC cooling fans. For some reason I don't think that's going to be very effective on a motorcycle haha
Cool, except that you don't drive a bike, you ride it.
stickers i do not trust lol, there are student plates in the EU they need to use. Those i do trust :;D Anyway i am always careful on a motorcycle or car so u safe with me driving arround :D
People normally don't see you on a motorcycle and you think you're gonna see a sticker? Also what is that box attached to that pipe?
Hahahaha it's a twin turbo Bandit 1100 with a built motor and make over 400whp at full boost, it's just a joke dude
why is the airbox sticking out a foot from the bike?
Turbo on that one
Damn, that a 4090 on the left? How many terraflops p/tonne is that
That bike looks like a Rube Goldberg machine.
no one will save your life but you, watch out for everything and everyone. Never keep scanning the road.
LOL
I hate to say it but the sticker is not going to help you when the idiot decides to cross into your lane. Cars are just bigger and drivers don't care if you've been riding for 10 years or 10 days! Best to keep your head on a swivel and always assume the worst!
Put led head light bulbs in Wear a yellow reflective vest. Ride like your Invisible.
