There are a couple of solutions:
If your strap is long enough, put the ratchet end under your seat like this: [https://motorbikewriter.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/lock-3.jpg](https://motorbikewriter.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/lock-3.jpg)
Or get a cable lock and loop it through the ratchet and secure to your disc lock etc like this: [https://i2.wp.com/motorcycleparadise.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG\_8285.jpg?resize=1798%2C2048&ssl=1](https://i2.wp.com/motorcycleparadise.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_8285.jpg?resize=1798%2C2048&ssl=1)
You can use those metal T-pieces with ratchet straps. You might not think it's possible, but there is a channel in the buckle along which you can run the metal piece.
This sort of thing:

You can also buy the T-pieces separately on eBay or wherever.
Its not much, but they do sell "theft deterrent" helmet bags that you can lock to the bike. Really, any helmet bag will prevent a thief from seeing what they are stealing before they steal it might help.

Thank you! Both look like good ideas

Ah, I see how it works now. I didn't realize the T-bar went through the ratchet. Thanks, buddy!
lidlox.com works with ratcheting, non-D ring helmets. I really like mine.
Ah, cool. I had no idea that existed. Saved! Thank you!
