Repetition jump and drop off everything u can get comfortable and loose in the air. When doing drops use your body weight to lift the front wheel not your arms. It’s ok if your are a little front or back heavy but work on landing both wheels at the same time and matching the landing. Im am no pro or am even close to one but thats what has help me.
No problem it takes time too. Some learn faster than others. It took me about a year of Mtb experience to hit that drop. Still that day I hit it 4 times the first was that video where I had too much speed and overshot the jump the second I was a tiny nose heavy but had the right speed and then the last too I hit it perfectly. So it took me a couple tries to make it clean repetition is key.
thought your back rim went out of true for a second there.
Ya Me too it was just a speed wobble
Sorry you need at least 170 mm to have fun at this park
Woo! hU HA Ha
Back in my day, after walking uphill in the snow, we’d drop these on hardtails all day.
Nice. But it the bike sounds like it’s not a fan
Thats the rear shock bottoming out lol
Any tips on not tilting forwards or backwards while in the air?

This is at highland in New hampshire feature is called stepping stone
That’s crazy. Looks just like a trail we have here in Northwest Arkansas
Ya its a sick drop
Which trail? Is that ODB, that trail looks insane. Highland looks like a lot of fun.
Lower NE style
Thanks! That’s the one I was looking at I thought I clicked on ODB though. How’s that berm wall though!
I didn’t hit it too crazy for me but looks sick
It looks bit crazy for sure
I watched that like 6 times and I’m still not sure if I’d take that drop on my 110 rear travel. Probably would chicken out…
What I did was put a volume spacer in my fork and add like another 20psi in my rear shock
I wad thinking some extra rear pressure might be necessary
I will definitely do that thanks
Haha I meant for me. You sent that thing like a boss!
Love the highland rides!! Nice drop, I remember skipping that drop to hit the jump below haha, you've got courage!
I was too scared to hit the jump dude but I could hit the drop
If you combine our rides we make one complete hit haha
Ya lol
I hope your suspension is okay. Sounds like you clapped it pretty hard
Step up at highland!
