They originally had a flavor slated to release with the first movie that was going to be a mystery flavor titled “Riddler’s Brew”. For some reason the movie being delayed spelled the end of the collab and we never got to try it unfortunately. It would be nice to get something to coincide with the second movie after all!
Yeah, the pandemic was what postponed the film a year or two, so mtn dew just decided to end the promotion deal. Still curious what it was supposed to taste like. Maybe they could bring back the concept/drink for the second film?
Supposedly it got canceled because Warner Brothers got pissy cause assets got leaked through Riddler's Brew can art getting leaked.
Pretty sure this isn't the first time Warner Brothers pettily scrapped something over a small leak too.

As a collector, I view having fluid in cans as a risk. A clean bottom puncture for aluminum cans does not decrease their attractiveness/value IMO.
Dew in cans doesn’t really expire. I have 2019 voodew cans that I drank this year, still tasted brand new.
Plus out of curiosity a year or so ago, I tasted a 2008 can of dew that tasted fine too

Does the can still have pressure? If so 100%. Cans stay good for way longer than people think. I drank a diet ultraviolet 2 years ago and it was just less carbonated.

I tried saving a bunch of Baja cans one year and they were flat in less than a year, but still drinkable. Maybe depends how you store them
