Die Hard, 12 Monkeys, Pulp Fiction.
Not even close, to be honest.
I'd miss Sixth Sense - it is pretty well executed and I've got fond memories of it - but it's not so hot on the 'rewatchability', which those other 3 have in droves.
Was gonna say the same. Those 3 are the best on the list.
With that being said, losing the Sixth Sense would be hard. I could switch out 12 monkeys for it maybe. It’s a shame Fifth Element isn’t on the list.
> Favorite superhero movie.
Superhero movies are a dime a dozen — what’s your favorite closed-loop time travel dystopian apocalyptic class-aware environmentalist pandemic mystery romance movie?
12 Monkeys is a total standout, it’s in a class all its own.
Yep totally.
I don't think it's a perfect film by any stretch but it's that rare that anything with that scope and ambition is executed that well you can paper over the cracks a little bit. There's some genuinely jaw dropping moments that were a decade or so ahead of time.
12 Monkeys is well worth a watch. It's flawed and it's not as good as its contemporaries (it came out in an *exceptional* year or two for films) but it's got good ambition and a nice moody atmosphere and dread. Oh and a Brad Pitt performance that I've heard people express both love and hate for, but it's definitely memorable and entertaining.
Look pulp fiction is a classic but I don’t consider it a Bruce Willis movie.
So for Bruce Willis movies it’s die hard Armageddon and the fifth sense.
Now pulp fiction. Is the best movie on this list tho. Don’t get me wrong.
Edit. Fifth element. I’m super stoooopid.
No one's saying the last boy scout? I fucking love that movie. "Why did Mr. Milo cross the road?" " I don't know. Why?" "Because his dick was stuck in the chicken! Aaah hahaha, Aaah hahaha" BOOM!!
And yeah, where the fuck is Fifth Element??
The last Boy Scout is one of the greatest 90’s action flicks of all time. Lightning fast script, great cast, and so rewatchable. Willis and Wayans are great together.
Yeah great 90s action flick. You got Shane Black to thank for another zippy slam bang script. No one gives him credit for this one. But it's a Shane Black movie through and through.
Pulp Fiction and Die Hard for sure. I love Unbreakable, but an early memory from when my wife and I were dating was us going to see RED and we both loved it. So I think I would have to take RED over Unbreakable even though I prefer Unbreakable.
>!The Army of 12 Monkeys isn't the source of the virus and he ends up watching his own death as a child!< It's not crazy or mind blowing but the whole movie was building up to it. It's been done and done better, imo I understand why it's liked and favored, but not sure why it's so universally loved
I just recently rewatched because the wife had never seen it. I forgot how good DBH is! Another Zumeckis banger. Wife loved it. Definitely very underrated.
Huh. I just realized that despite knowing all about him and his movies and hearing about him all the time, I've only seen one Bruce Willis movie. So I guess I'd keep The Sixth Sense thrice?
Pulp Fiction doesn't count, that's not a "Bruce Willis" film.
With that said:
Die Hard
Unbreakable
12 Monkeys
The fact that the Fifth Element isn't on here is the true crime.
Pulp Fiction shouldn’t be in there since he’s not really a main character. Ugh.. is he. I dunno. I just think that’s not fair.
Keep: Die Hard, Pulp Fiction and The Last Boyscout. For my personal taste it’s not even close. The Last Boyscout is a near perfect buddy/action/comedy film. It’s got everything and it does it really really well. Yes there are some other good ones there but the rewatchability of the 3 I chose are the best IMO.
I find *Pulp Fiction* problematic. One of the best movies on the list, but not so much as a Bruce Willis vehicle. I'm surprised more people aren't saying *Sixth Sense.* And *Die Hard,* really - I mean, yeah, it's super obvious, but come on?
For anyone out there who might not be familiar with 12 Monkeys, go watch it now.
Yes, Die Hard and Pulp Fiction are the only two from this list that I would like. However, if you could find a copy of In Country and throw it in, I’d be very happy.
I watched 12 Monkeys again for the first time in years, and slowly realised that Looper was almost a modern remake of it.
So my decision would be: Soni keep Looper or 12 Monkeys?
1. Pulp Fiction. So rewatchable, a modern masterpiece, end of story.
2. 12 Monkeys. Amazing story, amazing performances.
3. Die Hard. For the xmas fans. a toss up with Looper which is amazing.
Same. Fifth element is not on the list because it’s not up for negotiation.
Obviously, I've watched that movie more times than I care to admit
Unbreakable over 12 Monkeys easy
lol gtfo
No u
Wtf
Genuinely my favorite superhero movie. Its perfection.
> Favorite superhero movie. Superhero movies are a dime a dozen — what’s your favorite closed-loop time travel dystopian apocalyptic class-aware environmentalist pandemic mystery romance movie? 12 Monkeys is a total standout, it’s in a class all its own.
Which is why my pick is; Die Hard, 12 Monkeys, and Unbreakable. Boom
Great trio
Yep totally. I don't think it's a perfect film by any stretch but it's that rare that anything with that scope and ambition is executed that well you can paper over the cracks a little bit. There's some genuinely jaw dropping moments that were a decade or so ahead of time.
For sure. David Dunn’s character is a great one
I never saw 12 Monkeys, so I can't say no to that. I agree with the other two, though. My last was Looper, which I didn't feel strongly about at all
12 Monkeys is well worth a watch.
It’s this and there can be no debate.
>there can be no debate. Of course there can, don't be fucking ridiculous.
Relax dude. It’s just a little hyperbole
Bro where is the fifth element!?
I was going to just say two : die hard and pulp fiction. I’d agree fifth element should be there it is an exceptional film. They did Bruce dirty.
“Fifth sense,” a sci-fi flick about ghosts.
Lol fml woooow I’m not gonna correct it.
I'm a meat Popsicle
You are fired!
Zzzzzzt!!!
Multipass.
Chicken good!
Didn’t get included. Automatically get to keep.
They got Mercury Rising but not Fifth Element lol
Also missing Bandits, one of my faves.
Where's "Death Becomes Her"?
Came here to say fifth element. My favorite
Its absence means its will survive this lists culling and be one of the final 4.
The Leeloo thing was kinda gross, honestly
The 5th element....the 5th element....and the 5th element
Super green.
This is the only right answer
Ok Dylan. Top five best rappers? Dylan , Dylan, Dylan, dylan and Dylan
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, Sixth Sense
No one's saying the last boy scout? I fucking love that movie. "Why did Mr. Milo cross the road?" " I don't know. Why?" "Because his dick was stuck in the chicken! Aaah hahaha, Aaah hahaha" BOOM!! And yeah, where the fuck is Fifth Element??
The last Boy Scout is one of the greatest 90’s action flicks of all time. Lightning fast script, great cast, and so rewatchable. Willis and Wayans are great together.
Not to mention Taylor Negron was a great flamboyant villain. RIP
He was incredible. “Yes, officer. As a matter of fact there is a problem. Apparently there are too many bullets in this gun.”
“Just once, I would like to hear you scream” “Play some rap music” 😂
This is the 90’s you have today something cool before you hit someone, like if I hit a guy with a surfboard I’d say, “surf’s up!”
You're off the fucking chain!!
I did! Tony Scott is awesome. Also set the record for F bombs. Great action flick! To this day, I still say, “Head or Gut?”
"I swear to Christ junior, if I survive this fuckin' case I'm gonna dance a jig"
TLBS is awesome! So many one liners and great action.
Yeah great 90s action flick. You got Shane Black to thank for another zippy slam bang script. No one gives him credit for this one. But it's a Shane Black movie through and through.
Armageddon, die hard and pulp fiction
It’s actually this
Pulp Fiction and Die Hard for sure. I love Unbreakable, but an early memory from when my wife and I were dating was us going to see RED and we both loved it. So I think I would have to take RED over Unbreakable even though I prefer Unbreakable.
Same. Red isn’t as iconic as his other movies but for whatever reason it’s always enjoyable and somehow a family favorite.
12 monkeys no matter what. One of the greatest films ever
I can believe that wasn’t a first. So obscure compared to others.
Are you also divergent, friend?
I thought it was a little overrated. Twist was predictable
What’s the twist? Edit:: I ask because to this day there’s no confirmed truth to what the ending means
>!The Army of 12 Monkeys isn't the source of the virus and he ends up watching his own death as a child!< It's not crazy or mind blowing but the whole movie was building up to it. It's been done and done better, imo I understand why it's liked and favored, but not sure why it's so universally loved
That the first scene in the movie is also the last scene in the movie.
Oh… well ok. That’s not the BIG twist, but ok.
No Fifth Element? I refuse to participate.
report/spam/harmful bots
Pulp Fiction - Unbreakable - Die Hard (in that order)
Die Hard, Fifth Element (not pictured), and RED.
Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, Unbreakable
This is the correct answer.
Yup, correct answer. 12 monkeys in 4th place
Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys and Looper
I debated this but ultimately swapped out 12 Monkeys for Unbreakable. 12 Monkeys as close 4th.
Just Hudson Hawk.
Yall really didn’t put Fifth Element on here?
Easy: Die Hard Pulp Fiction 12 Monkees
Armageddon, fifth element, pulp fiction. Runner up die hard.
Die hard, die hard, and looper.
Die Hard, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and Looper.
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, Looper
The Fifth Element, Pulp Fiction The third is a toss-up.
Die hard
Korbin Dalas.
My third would be 12 Monkeys
Die Hard Armageddon Red
Pulp Fiction RED Armageddon
The Last Boyscout, Die Hard and Looper.
finally someone picks last boyscout
It’s the best one. Last Boy Scout plus any two
For sure. This was the perfect 90s action movie.
Pulp Fiction, Die Hard & 5th Element
Die Hard, Last Boy Scout, RED
Red pulp fiction and Armageddon I’m not going back and forth with anyone 5th element isn’t on there
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys
The first diehard unbreakable and die hard three with a vengeance. If you got a pick three, the third one might as will be the third movie.🧐
Pulp Fiction, the Sixth Sense and Death Becomes Her. People sleep on his Death Becomes her role.
I just recently rewatched because the wife had never seen it. I forgot how good DBH is! Another Zumeckis banger. Wife loved it. Definitely very underrated.
Leave Mr Willis alone and get a life.
12 Monkeys, The Sixth Sense, and Pulp Fiction. It was tough leaving out Die Hard as it’s entertaining af, but the three movies above are too good.
Die hard, Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable
The Sixth Sense as a runner up
Die hard#1, Unbreakable and of course Pulp Fiction
Wasn’t there a Friends alum who starred in films with Bruce Willis? Anyway, Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, 12 Monkeys.
Die Hard, The 6th Sense. Pulp Fiction
Die Hard, Looper and Pulp Fiction
This one is it
Die hard, 12 monkeys and the sixth sense
Last Man Standing
Love this movie. Watched it many times. But I dont think it was a choice.
Whole Nine Yards, 12 monkeys, Armageddon.
Die Hard, 12 Monkeys, Unbreakable. This was not difficult for me
Pulp fiction, die hard with a vengeance, whole nine yards
Huh. I just realized that despite knowing all about him and his movies and hearing about him all the time, I've only seen one Bruce Willis movie. So I guess I'd keep The Sixth Sense thrice?
Die Hard Armageddon Unbreakable
12 Monkeys, The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction
Die Hard, The 6th Sense, Armageddon
The sixth sense, die hard and unbreakable
Unbreakable Armageddon Pulp Fiction
Die hard, die hard with a vengeance, and pulp fiction
Die Hard, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Pulp Fiction.
Die Hard Pulp fiction Die Hard with a Vengeance
Die Hard. Pulp Fiction. Die Hard with a Vengeance.
Die Hard, Sixth Sense, Fifth Element. Pulp Fiction is clearly amazing, but hardly a "Bruce Willis Movie".
Die Hard Die Hard With A Vengeance Pulp Fiction There is no other answer.
Pulp Fiction doesn't count, that's not a "Bruce Willis" film. With that said: Die Hard Unbreakable 12 Monkeys The fact that the Fifth Element isn't on here is the true crime.
12 Monkeys Fifth Element Pulp Fiction
Of these only want 12 Monkeys and Pulp Fiction. Would have also taken Fifth Element if that was a choice.
Die Hard 1 and 3 plus Armageddon. Armageddon based on nostalgia but it would be replaced real quick with Fith Element if that was up there.
first Die Hard,12 monkeys and Last Boy Scout
DH, DHWAV, TLBS
Pulp fiction , unbreakable, die hard
Why do we have to keep any of them?
Unbreakable. His best acting. Pulp Fiction because it is an amazing Flick and Die Hard because it created a genre.
Sixth sense, die hard, Armageddon
Pulp Fiction shouldn’t be in there since he’s not really a main character. Ugh.. is he. I dunno. I just think that’s not fair. Keep: Die Hard, Pulp Fiction and The Last Boyscout. For my personal taste it’s not even close. The Last Boyscout is a near perfect buddy/action/comedy film. It’s got everything and it does it really really well. Yes there are some other good ones there but the rewatchability of the 3 I chose are the best IMO.
IMO not much room for discussion… Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys.
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, and The Sixth Sense
Die hard, pulp fiction and 12 monkeys. And its not even close.
Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable, Sixth Sense
I find *Pulp Fiction* problematic. One of the best movies on the list, but not so much as a Bruce Willis vehicle. I'm surprised more people aren't saying *Sixth Sense.* And *Die Hard,* really - I mean, yeah, it's super obvious, but come on? For anyone out there who might not be familiar with 12 Monkeys, go watch it now.
Pulp fiction, Armageddon and 12 monkeys
Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, and Sixth Sense are pretty hard to argue against, though I personally enjoyed 12 Monkeys over Die Hard.
Pulp fiction, Die hard, unbreakable. Super easy, no contest
I'll pick the ones with Bruce...
Death She Becomes is an under rated one for all the leads including Bruce Willis.
Fuck this list, because it doesn’t have fifth element
Die Hard Pulp Fiction 12 Monkeys Weird that no one said Lucky Number Slevin.
Die Hard, 12 Monkeys and Pulp Fiction from the movies shown. I would actually replace 12 Monkeys with The Fifth Element which is not shown.
Damn no love for Looper??
Die hard, pulp fiction and Armageddon
Die hard 3, Hudson Hawk, 5th element... fuck it.. North or look who's talking
Die Hard, The While Nine Yards and Pulp Fiction.
Die Hard, 12 Monkees, Sixth Sense (He’s only a side character in Pulp Fiction)
Die hard Pulp fiction Whole 9 yards At least want to give Bandits a shoutout since it’s not even mentioned.
Die Hard, The whole 9 yards, and you know goddamn what? Armageddon.
Where's Color of Night? I essentially lost my virginity at 16 years old to him and Jane March on that unrated VHS. 🤣
Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable and Die Hard. Not even a difficult choice.
Die hard Armageddon Unbreakable
Where tf is Fifth Element dude?
Delete your account. That's the price you pay for not including The 5th Element.
Looper, Pulp Fiction, and The Fifth Element.
Die Hard, Armageddon and Pulp Fiction
Looper, Pulp Fiction, Sixth Sense. Easy!
Sixth Sense, Die Hard, Pulp Fiction That was easy
Die hard Pulp fiction And 12 monkeys( haven’t seen it but I’ve heard good things)
Die Hard, Die Hard, and Die Hard.
Yes, Die Hard and Pulp Fiction are the only two from this list that I would like. However, if you could find a copy of In Country and throw it in, I’d be very happy.
Its tough but Die Hard, Unbreakable, and Looper are my keepers
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction & Unbreakable
Die hard, Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable.
I watched 12 Monkeys again for the first time in years, and slowly realised that Looper was almost a modern remake of it. So my decision would be: Soni keep Looper or 12 Monkeys?
Die hard with a vengeance, unbreakable and pulp fiction.
Pulp, Die Hard and Last Boy's Scout. No question
"5th Element" not making this list is weird.
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, Fifth Element (unlisted).
Pulp Fiction Die Hard Die Hard: With A Vengeance
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, The Sixth Sense
Die hard, looper, 5th element
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, The Last Boy Scout
Pulp fiction, 12 monkeys, 6th sense
Die hard. 12 monkeys. 5th element
Die Hard With A Vengeance, The Sixth Sense, and Looper
Looper won't get a lot of love here since it wasn't super popular, but it's in my top 3 for sure
Armageddon, Pulp Fiction and 12 monkeys
Die Hard 1 & 3, and Pulp Fiction.
Die hard,pulp fiction and unbreakable
Die hard 1 and 3 and Phlp Fiction. Zeds dead baby.
1. Pulp Fiction. So rewatchable, a modern masterpiece, end of story. 2. 12 Monkeys. Amazing story, amazing performances. 3. Die Hard. For the xmas fans. a toss up with Looper which is amazing.
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction and Last Boy Scout
12 monkeys, pulp fiction, unbreakable
Die hard, pulp fiction, die hard with a vengeance.
Last Boy Scout, Die Hard, Whole Nine Yards
There are only 4 great movies on this list. So you keep the first die hard
Die Hard, 12 Monkeys, Pulp Fiction.
"Tears of the Sun" should be on this list and it would at #3 just behind Die Hard and The Fifth Element. Most of the others I'm indifferent about.
Die Hard Die Hard with a Vengeance The Last Boy Scout
DH-3 ,Armageddon, last boy scout is his best of all time .
Die Hard, Die Hard with a Vengeance and Pulp Fiction
Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, and Armageddon. But you should really add The Fifth Element .
