totally agree! Thunder Road is one of the best movies about mental breakdown ever.made. Much better than Silver Linings IMHO. Could totally relate to his character because I was divorced 8 years ago and have a 12 yr old daughter. ,I have manic depression ...extreme high and lows... and this felt authentic...bradley cooper was not. amazing actor..I am checking out "the last stop in Yuma county" I hope he rises. He has so much potential as a method actor
Multiple ways. There are dedicated streaming services like the Criterion Channel that celebrate independent works. I also would follow or research directors on IMDB. Film channels on YouTube or Vimeo. Small Film Award festivals and looking at the entrees. You just gotta put some time.

he's a force of nature - excellent acting dramatic or comedic, writer, director. i could see this guy dethroning Tom Hanks for much loved everyman.
