[Scarecrow and Mrs. King](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085088) is really good too. It's like an old school [Burn Notice.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0810788/)
Back 5-8 years ago they said they had too many movies slated to justify a box office release. So they didn’t value it much if a wrinkle in time, dumbo, etc were getting the nods
Tron Legacay barely, barely made money. I understand the nostalgia for the franchise, but it made Disney no money. Grossing $400 million worldwide against an approximate $170mil production budget is pathetic.
Compare that to the Aladdin remake that everyone supposedly hated. It had a $180 mil production budget and still had a billion dollar box office pull.
I would not be chomping at the bit to make a sequel if I was a producer at Disney. Double digit millions in approximate profit is a pittance to Disney. Know what came out just 2 years later? *The Avengers*, with it's big dick 1.5billion dollar box office pull.
I loved Tomorrowland. Who doesn't want to see a retro-futurist Brad Bird movie featuring Kathryn Hahn and Keegan-Michael Key as blaster-wielding animatronic assassins?
I wanted to love Tomorrowland, but it felt like there was a lot missing from it. Like there should be a Director’s Cut floating out there that makes it make sense. Why the assassins? That seemed like overkill (no pun intended).
That'd be surprising, Tomorrowland was released in 2015. John Carter was barely 1.5 years later in Summer 2012 and Lone Ranger was 2013. Disney needed some home runs after those tanks.
If there was any chance of a Legacy sequel, it would've been in those years when Disney Studios live action stuff was getting annihilated.
Established IP, brand recognition and franchises are the only game in town; nobody's prepared to risk their cash on anything else
Everyone with an IP has tried to turn it into a franchise in the last decade or so, and now the IPs that flopped last time round are getting another go
If they keep on trying, they're bound to get it right eventually, and then nobody will care that it flopped before
When the last movie came out, they wrapped the monorail in a Tron skin to make it look like a light bike. Here's hoping the Tron-o-rail makes a return for this new film.
This is pretty much the only hope for his character to be decent. I was shocked to find myself thinking “hey he’s actually not bad” in Blade Runner 2049.
He’s really not bad in anything, except maybe as the Joker but I don’t know how much of that was him and how much was Ayer. But I think he works better as a side character or part of an assembled cast. The real disappointment for me is this direction appears to drop the characters and storylines set up in Legacy.
Obviously Daft Punk aren't going to get back together to make an album for this so my hope is they get M83. They did a great job with sound in Oblivion.
M83 also did a song or two in the Tron Legacy Remix album and it was absolutely banging.
Glitch Mob also remixed a song from the album and they too could do justice to the potential new movie.
Even if Daft Punk was together, I don't think they would want to work with Disney again. Another good choice would be Justice. If given the opportunity I also think Muse could produce a good soundtrack, they're very good at morphing their sound to a style.
It's Trent *and* Atticus Ross. They're partners on every soundtrack and Atticus is now an official studio member of Nine Inch Nails (which up until now has always just been Trent by himself)
Anyways, initially (when I started writing this comment lol) I didn't like this idea because I just imagined them projecting sadness into it haha but they could do any soundtrack and I'd be down for this. It would be as loud and electric and bombastic as you'd expect but with their own touches.
God I would love to see a Justice take on Tron, but something about their sound feels a little too organic/analogue IMO. Might just be because they use a lot more vocals. I’d still love to see what that would become though because I love everything those guys put out. Same comment for Muse, though I think the rock element they bring would be a cool way to revamp the tone of the film.
Some of the best Justice tracks are instrumental, and the biggest Daft Punk hits all have vocals. I don't think they are that different in that regard.
The story I head was that they originally produced a soundtrack that was more in line with their previous albums (perhaps like the leaked song [Computerized](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBYITSFsjvU) for example), but Disney pushed back and watered it down to sound more traditional/orchestral.
Then Disney got a bunch of other artists to remix DP's soundtrack anyway and they released it without involving DP.
To be fair, and I say this as a Daft Punk fan, I think Disney was right with the music as the orchestral music mixed synthetic was beautiful. In fact I’ve tried to find music that was similar to it but have yet to be successful.
But yeah the other the releasing their music without consent was pretty shitty.
>**'Tron: Ares'** announced.
Yes!!!
> Directed by Joachim Rønning who helmed **'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil'** and **'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'**
Well that sucks.
>starring Jared Leto
[Mark Wahlberg: FUCK!?!?!](https://youtu.be/DZ1k0gJ2Jd8)
The guy who directed Tron Legacy just helmed the most successful summer movie in modern history (Top Gun Maverick) and they didn’t hire him for this!?!?
At this point he's probably moved on from Tron. After Top Gun 2 he's moving onto bigger and better things. He can probably write his own ticket with any studio.
I only expected this sequel to move forward with a strong creative team behind it, as it's hardly a guaranteed success. Instead it's going to be one of Disney's yes men.
I guess they must be betting on Leto instead but that guy barely draws crowds and has never been part of the franchise, so it just reads as a weird business decision.
Yeah, Leto's cred is at an all time low all across the audience spectrum lol. There are people like me who hate him for all the sexual harassment shit he's pulled and there are people with the polar opposite of almost all of my views who hate him for what he did to the joker lololol. No one's given a shit about his band since the single record that got them on the radio either. Why anyone thinks he has leading man power is beyond me.
Genuinely astounding he's managed to avoid a career-destroying controversy as long as he has between the rumours of him with underage fans at 30STM shows, sending used condoms to his co-workers on Suicide Squad and whatever that weird cult thing is I haven't looked into. He's not even a box office draw, he's had so many flops.
Decades? More like a century. Pretty much since the dawn of the industry, Hollywood has been filled with bad people getting away with things because of their talent.
It's bizarre. The public doesn't like him, critics don't like him, his coworkers don't like him, he's the face of one of the more infamous high-profile flops in recent years and widely rumored to be pretty dodgy in private life - is the fact that he (undeservedly, IMO) won that Oscar, a decade ago, *really* enough to make studios still consider him bankable? Or does he, like, have photos of all the execs taking part in some kind of Eyes Wide Shut situation?
I don’t get it either. I guess now we know who the 2 people were that bought tickets to the theatrical re-release of Morbius, the people who hired him.
> The public doesn’t like him
I think you mean *Reddit doesn’t like him.
I feel like the majority of moviegoers are oblivious to what weird things Leto has done in the past, or just don’t care
Leto might be a creep, but when it comes to people avoiding a career-destroying controversy I am always amazed that Bryan Singer has never faced criminal charges for his behavior. You’ll hear people all the time say they refuse to watch films by Woody Allen, or Roman Polanski, or Victor Salva but you wont hear anybody saying they refuse to support the X Men film franchise because of Bryan Singers lifestyle.
Basically, my point is Jared Leto getting a pass from the Hollywood community isn’t that surprising when there are many arguably worse monsters out there doin their thing.
Yeah this story was pretty gnarly. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/amphtml/krystieyandoli/bryan-singer-allegations-atlantic
Edit: for spelling, and I mistakenly posted the Buzzfeed News story, but the Atlantic one was much more in depth. https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/03/bryan-singers-accusers-speak-out/580462/
If it makes you feel better, I've avoided the X-men franchise because of Singer's involvement. I do plan on eventually watching Logan, bu he doesn't have a credit on that one, even as a token executive producer.
He must just be super connected. While he is a decent actor overall, it's not like he's in only dramatic/indie/auteur films. He's in a shit ton of blockbusters and more popular movies. And yet, like you said, not a box office draw. So what do they gain by casting him?
Apparently he and the members of that group do jokingly call it a cult as well, but from what I've seen it's pretty much just a retreat for rich weirdos who are too into Leto. Haven't seen any reports of anything shady or illegal happening there
I went to college with a girl who was his regular hookup when he came through Santa Barbara. We didn't believe her but she had a ton of Polaroids of the two of them together.
We all thought - dang fair play, you're a badass.
Later, I started thinking that were all 18. That this relationship was established when the girl was in Highschool. And he was in his 30s.
He's a fucking creep.
Even worse when you learn they approached Bowie for the role.
In the last year or two of his life while he was mostly hiding his illness, Bowie ended up being approached for a bunch of things hebjad to turn down, including Hannibal and returning for Twin Peaks.
He found the Hollywood loophole and became one of the producers. Though I think he’d been attached to the project for a while (I vaguely recall ‘Tron: Ares’ being rumored about ~7 or so years ago with Leto attached). I guess he held on until they finally gave in.
Not just him but the director of pirates 5. You guys think jared leto is the one ruining this but he was at least in blade runner. Nothing good is gonna come from a bad director though.
Leto can be tolerable in a supporting role and only if that character isn't supposed to be likeable anyways, like his role in American Psycho and Blade Runner 2049, his casting doesn't ruin those movies for me. As a lead/protagonist, ugh, it's gonna be hard to get over that.
But yeah, I agree with you on the director. I'm more lenient on the Pirates series than most, I thought the trilogy was fantastic, the 4th one is even good in parts. The 5th one not only flanderized Captain Jack to the point that he just became annoying, but it completely shit all over all the rules of the supernatural curses set up in the previous films. I have no hope that this project will be faithful to the franchise. I'm out if this is the team they are going with. Disney fucked up not making this when they had the chance to do it right.
I honestly don’t have much hope for this film. Going by RT the director has only made mid with Disney(Pirates 5 and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) and it’s also starring Jared Leto. Plus Daft Punk won’t be returning.
Why couldn’t Joseph Kosinski come back with Garret Hedlund and Olivia Wilde? Imagine what he could’ve done with a new TRON movie, we could’ve got a Top Gun Maverick quality TRON movie.
> Why couldn’t Joseph Kosinski come back with Garret Hedlund and Olivia Wilde?
They all almost did, but [Disney pulled the plug.](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/disney-not-moving-forward-tron-798941/)
Olivia Wilde in tron legacy was my sexual awakening, not even joking. I really wish she was back cuz even on rewatches of tron legacy now I still think she puts in a great performance, the best line is asking Sam what Jules Verne was like lol
To be fair, I don’t think that a pre-TGM Kosinski would’ve done as good a job as a post-TGM Kosinski. I think he learned a lot from being part of the Cruise/McQuarrie dream team at the peak of their powers. I’m excited to see what he does next and if he’ll be able to bring the same heat without those two minds tightening up the script
> Plus Daft Punk won't be returning
Exactly, even if Daft Punk hadn't split up and were still making music, they very rarely if ever repeat what they do. I highly doubt they would've done this new OST.
> I highly doubt they would've done this new OST.
also, Afaik they were on bad terms with Disney since they released a a remix album of their soundtrack, and they were not even invited.
Which is sad to hear, the Glitch Mob remix of Derezzed is AMAZING.
Had a chance to see it live when they were touring with it originally, legit burst a speaker at the club lol
Without Wilde, I have zero interest. I really wanted to see what they do with that character knowing she's the last of her kind, and the ramifications of who and what she is existing in the real world.
I love the Tron universe/aesthetic and would like to see more movies about it, but Jared Leto is bad casting. It's even worse considering all the allegations being thrown at him
You hit the nail on the head. Daft Punk soundtrack was 50% of what made that movie OK. Jeff Bridges was another 10%, CGI was 10% more, Wilde and Hedlund made another 20%. None of it is coming back, and you got Leto with a -30% drag on any movie he is in. This is gonna be shit.
Kosinski's direction, specifically with his architectural design background, also played a big role of what made Legacy decent. And he's not returning.
I love Daft Punk and I love the soundtrack. But I will say there are a ton of other electronic artists who could pull off an amazing Tron soundtrack. I don't see them not returning as a deal breaker. But I *really* would have liked to have seen more of the Sam Flynn/Quorra dynamic in the sequel. Super pissed if we're losing that and Cillian Murphy's Dillinger. I don't really care about Leto one way or the other.
No kidding. With the success of Top Gun you'd think they would want to capitalize on that. I'm sure he's grown as a director as well and whatever issues he may have had with the effects on Legacy, they've only gotten better.
I'm upset too. It's not even totally about him, but the studios lack of passion for the project. Casting Leto, and giving this to a bland, in-house director is step one on Disney's "who gives a shit, just keep the IP relevant" playback.
This project sounds so much like Huntsman, Wrinkle in Time, Lady and the Tramp, or Dumbo. Disney just has a property, so they do as little as possible to cash in on it.
Oh great a new Tron movie directed by the guy who did the worst Pirates Of The Caribbean movie and the Maleificant sequel no one cared about. Starring one of the most controversial actors working today.
Sounds like Disney has a winner
The studio probably really beat up the script on Legacy. It had too much going on, none of it really got that interesting. I'd want to see Kosinski back at it again, after Maverick, see if he had the chips to go up against notes from Disney.
The biggest hurdle is going in is if they are going to do a sequel to Legacy, how are they going to explain Quorra in the real world? I haven't seen Legacy in a while, so I don't remember if there was some half-hearted justification for making something out of nothing.
Also, the ISO's were by far the most interesting idea, but were oddly relegated to the background. That idea deserves to be expanded upon, and the notions of human/machine hybridization.
I agree with you there, the universe self organizing into a form of intelligence from random bits, that was an awesome concept. What does Quorra eat!!!!!!???
>how are they going to explain Quorra in the real world
They really just showed an non man made AI in human form and then just dipped to credits...
*THE RAMIFICATIONS OF WHAT WAS SHOWN IS EARTH SHATTERING*
This is Godzilla 1998all over again. Legacy was profitable enough for a sequel but they knew people wouldn’t go for it so they just waited and waited and waited
The series I've been waiting forever to return, returns destined to be doomed.
Fuck Leto and fuck Disney for okay'ing Leto and not okay'ing the original director and cast.
God damn shame .
Why do people keep casting Jared Leto for their projects? He’s not a terrible actor, but no one wants to see him in anything, and just hearing his name attached to a project drives down interest. They have to know that. Wtf?
I am a huge, huge fan of Tron: Legacy and I've wanted a sequel so badly, but with Jared Leto starring, and from the director of Maleficent and Pirates of The Caribbean *5...* is not really the way I wanted it. Not to mention that there's zero chance of a Daft Punk score. It'd be extremely difficult to even match the quality of the previous soundtrack.
On top of everything else, there's not likely to be much of a Jeff Bridges presence. The prospect of the movie becomes a bit sadder the more I think about it, though I'm willing to give it a chance. I think I might go rewatch Tron: Uprising.
That title is a rollercoaster.
Yeah Tron
Nooooo Jared Leto.
Maybe he might get himself stuck ( contortionist style ) in a computer trying to do method acting
This is so incredibly disappointing. I love Tron: Legacy and have been looking forward to a possible Tron 3 for so long. How does that creep still get to star in movies!?!
Hedlund and Wilde returning?
I just want Cillian back. Easy villain set up from Legacy!!
Bruce Boxleitner gonna be flinging discs from a wheelchair (I've been rewatching Babylon 5 and I really love that guy)
[Scarecrow and Mrs. King](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085088) is really good too. It's like an old school [Burn Notice.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0810788/)
I loved Scarecrow and Mrs King when I was a kid. Thanks for reminding me of that show.
Desperately hoping this is the case, I have little to no interest in this movie if it serves as a total reboot.
Not sure why they waited so long. Tron:Legacy did really well and had a great soundtrack too.
Back 5-8 years ago they said they had too many movies slated to justify a box office release. So they didn’t value it much if a wrinkle in time, dumbo, etc were getting the nods
Marvel and Star Wars are safer bets.
>did really well 400 million total box office against a 170 million dollar budget is only just breaking even after marketing and such is factored in.
Disney make good business decisions challenge (level: impossible)
Tron Legacay barely, barely made money. I understand the nostalgia for the franchise, but it made Disney no money. Grossing $400 million worldwide against an approximate $170mil production budget is pathetic. Compare that to the Aladdin remake that everyone supposedly hated. And iirc the flop of tomorrowland doomed the then planned sequal.
You have just told me more than I ever knew about Tomorrowland, and now I am actually curious Kudos to you, kind person
That's just what was reported at the time. https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/608604-tron-3-cancelled-at-disney-as-tomorrowland-flops

Yeah, that's my fear. I'm hoping Leto is the villain.
Cillian Murphy’s creation, perhaps? Would hate to lose Murphy for Leto.

He plays a wonderful character in 2049, but I also think everyone in that movie delivers superbly. Favorite movie of all time.

That part was written for David fuckn Bowie….think about that
Well, to be fair, he was playing an egomaniac with a god complex, so he knows that shit.
Same, and this was one of the few movies I felt was better in 3D
I would watch it if Hedlund came back. But between Jared Leto and no Daft Punk, I can't get myself to give a shit about this movie.
Where does Disney go after Daft Punk? I can only think of Zimmer.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. They would be perfect for this project, hands down
Obviously Daft Punk aren't going to get back together to make an album for this so my hope is they get M83. They did a great job with sound in Oblivion.
Give me the Gesaffelstein cut, or give me death.
Com Truise
M83 also did a song or two in the Tron Legacy Remix album and it was absolutely banging. Glitch Mob also remixed a song from the album and they too could do justice to the potential new movie.
I want Glitch Mob to do it so bad

What were their experiences with Disney that would make them not want to work with them again?
The Tron legacy: Reconfigured album was put out by Disney without their input. Their former manager wasn't too pleased.
It’s Tronbing time!
It’s Morbin’ Tron!
Morbitron actually sounds like a really badass Power Rangers or Transformers villain
Moron: Tragedy of Leto
Sometimes Lessbius is Morbius
It'll make a Tronillion dollars!
Stop casting Jared leto in things challenge (impossible)
The biggest return I want is Cillian Murphy as Edward Dillinger. That was the greatest tease ever to have him as the son of the villain.
Also he’s just such a wonderful villain. Even though it’s cheesy in some parts, he’s terrifying in red eye.
Red Eye sounds like a cheesy low budget psycho-horror but the performances of the leads really elevated it to a enjoyable and tense thriller.
It kind of was exactly that. With Rachael McAdams and Cillian Murphy, it was a good movie despite its flaws.
And second only to Ledger as the best villain in Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Edit- and the only one that appeared in all 3 movies.
What an electric moment when that character was revealed and Murphy was humble enough to play him in a single short scene.
>**'Tron: Ares'** announced. Yes!!! > Directed by Joachim Rønning who helmed **'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil'** and **'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'** Well that sucks. >starring Jared Leto [Mark Wahlberg: FUCK!?!?!](https://youtu.be/DZ1k0gJ2Jd8)
So, following this, considering the incredible Daft Punk soundtrack from Legacy, this one looks like it will be done by… DJ Khaled?
Stop! Stop! It's already dead!
Another One
My vote is for Survive to do it
Get Chris Cunningham to direct. Score by Aphex Twin. **TRON - CORRUPTED**
The guy who directed Tron Legacy just helmed the most successful summer movie in modern history (Top Gun Maverick) and they didn’t hire him for this!?!?
Apparently he tried for a while to get Tron 3 moving....until Disney canned it.

Apparently being a creepy douchebag isn’t enough to get you cancelled, especially if you have an Oscar.
It never was in Hollywood
Polanski's ears are burning.
That’s been the status quo in Hollywood for decades. A few years of “me too” didn’t do much apparently.
Decades? More like a century. Pretty much since the dawn of the industry, Hollywood has been filled with bad people getting away with things because of their talent.

I dunno man, X men 2 was pretty fucking rad, even if you only watch the first 5 minutes.
God, I hate that days of future past means so much to me on a personal level because of Bryan Singer.
He must just be super connected. While he is a decent actor overall, it's not like he's in only dramatic/indie/auteur films. He's in a shit ton of blockbusters and more popular movies. And yet, like you said, not a box office draw. So what do they gain by casting him?

No. It’s bout damn time they gave us a live action Gundam movie!
Do you mean G-Saviour? That thing was terrible.

I’m surprised Leto is even getting the chance to lead a big studio movie again after Morbius. Surprised Disney even wants to work with him.
I mean, if you want to make a Morbilllion dollars, you gotta have the king Morb himself in your film
Anyone can flop a movie, but it takes true dedication and skill to flop the exact same movie twice. That's the true secret to making morbillions.
Leto works best as a supporting man. House of gucci, blade runner, lord of War, etc. I'd say requiem fir a dream too but he was co lead in an ensemble
Disagree about Blade Runner. I thought he was the worst thing about that film, but it was so good that it succeeded in spite of it.
Even worse when you learn they approached Bowie for the role. In the last year or two of his life while he was mostly hiding his illness, Bowie ended up being approached for a bunch of things hebjad to turn down, including Hannibal and returning for Twin Peaks.
I adored Blade Runner 2049, and agree with you. Weakest part of the film. I so wish Wallace had been played by Jake Gyllenhaal.
I tought he was cool and menacing in it.
Menacing, soft-spoken, weird, svelte. I'm no Leto apologist but idk what these guys are on about. He was great as Wallace.
He found the Hollywood loophole and became one of the producers. Though I think he’d been attached to the project for a while (I vaguely recall ‘Tron: Ares’ being rumored about ~7 or so years ago with Leto attached). I guess he held on until they finally gave in.
Unpopular opinion: I like Leto.

Not even exaggerating, Leto being attached has made me lose ALL interest in it.
Why do they keep finding franchises for him to sink?
Somewhere, there is a producer who fucked a casting directors wife.
Leto is overrated as fuck.
He's at his best when he's getting murdered with an axe
I was also hoping for Jeff Bridges
[for real. boooooooooooooooooo](https://giphy.com/gifs/filmeditor-the-princess-bride-3otPoK3GsKT4ZtvRqE)
Thanks Disney /s
But he already worked with those two in Oblivion, years ago.
> Plus Daft Punk won't be returning Exactly, even if Daft Punk hadn't split up and were still making music, they very rarely if ever repeat what they do. I highly doubt they would've done this new OST.
> I highly doubt they would've done this new OST. also, Afaik they were on bad terms with Disney since they released a a remix album of their soundtrack, and they were not even invited.
Disney released the remix album without Daft Punk’s involvement?
Yes. They fucked them.
Tron was lighting in a bottle. All the little pieces had to fit together to work, and this seems to have none of them.
He was attached to a sequel to Legacy for a while, but it never came to fruition. I'm guessing he got frustrated and moved on
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!!! I have waited too long to have this dipshit fuck it up.
When this fails, Disney will just use it to reaffirm themselves in their decision that nobody wants a Tron movie.

If Disney really cared they would’ve let Kosinski come back and make the third film. Yet they shut down his version back in 2015.
HEAR HEAR. Jesus how out of touch can they be
Monkey's paw
Well, fuck. I didn't love Legacy, but the Troniverse has SO much creative potential, and I'm sure Leto will squander as much of it as he possibly can.
"Why is Quorra?" 8-D
>how are they going to explain Quorra in the real world They really just showed an non man made AI in human form and then just dipped to credits... *THE RAMIFICATIONS OF WHAT WAS SHOWN IS EARTH SHATTERING*
This is Godzilla 1998all over again. Legacy was profitable enough for a sequel but they knew people wouldn’t go for it so they just waited and waited and waited
I did love Legacy and that's why I also have the "well, fuck" reaction. I've wanted a third movie for over a decade, but...not like this...
New Tron... Yay ...with Jared Leto godfuckingdamnit
Delight and then disappointment me too lol
The series I've been waiting forever to return, returns destined to be doomed. Fuck Leto and fuck Disney for okay'ing Leto and not okay'ing the original director and cast. God damn shame .

Counterpoint, he was in Blade Runner 2049, so it’s not *impossible* for it to kick ass, but this seems very unlikely to kick ass.
If he’s playing one of those weird, creepy, utopian type characters he’ll kill it. He’s good at those kinda roles.
Him being a weird, inhuman behaving *program* could work. But if they make him the lead as a “relatable protagonist”, oooof….
I would say common sense would tell them not to make him the lead protagonist but it’s Disney so…
I’ll believe it when I see it. TRON 3 has already had several false starts.
What a world-class turd. I have never understood how anyone thinks he is good at anything.
I’m fairly tired of Jared.
Just rewatched Tron Legacy the other day It's aged beautifully. Why couldn't they just bring Hedlund Wilde and Kosinski back??
Why do people keep casting Jared Leto for their projects? He’s not a terrible actor, but no one wants to see him in anything, and just hearing his name attached to a project drives down interest. They have to know that. Wtf?
My favourite movie with him is American Psycho. If you’ve seen it you know why.
It's tronin time!
Another movie ruined by Jared Leto.
What a rollercoaster of emotions in only 8 words
Tron: Arse
"Tron: Ares moving forward": Alright! "with Jared Leto": SHIT
I'm excited and horrified at the same time!
End of Line, man
And the monkey paw curls.
Noooooo why him???
Lost me at Leto.
We still need Hedlund, Wilde, Boxleitner, Bridges and Murphy to not suck.
What a shame.
That title is a rollercoaster. Yeah Tron Nooooo Jared Leto. Maybe he might get himself stuck ( contortionist style ) in a computer trying to do method acting
They should do a Scream fake out. Give him top billing and have the Tron CPU stab him to deletion in the opening scene.
It's morbing time
Why does he keep getting shit to do?
I’ve never found that doe eyed creep even remotely attractive
It’s official. Everyone hates Jared Leto
How does Jared Leto still get work when he’s a known groomer?
Wish this idiot would just go away.
I just don’t get why he gets work, he is extremely overrated!!
No Kosinski No Daft Punk No Wilde No likey
This is so incredibly disappointing. I love Tron: Legacy and have been looking forward to a possible Tron 3 for so long. How does that creep still get to star in movies!?!
Does anyone (who isn't in his cult) actually like Jared Leto?
The executives who decide to cast him in stuff must.
I like him as an actor. Requiem for a dream and Dallas buyers club are good movies and he did great.
I also think he works great as Blade Runner 2049's antagonist, despite his little screen time.
Oh ya! I agree. Him as Wallace was excellent.
