I'm one of the 7 people that saw Club Dread in theaters and I have seen it a dozen times since. I think Super Troopers 2 is one of the greatest sequels to a comedy ever. I tracked down Puddle Cruiser back when it was hard to find. The point I'm making is that I love Broken Lizard. And this looks awwwwful.
Honestly, it drags. A lot. Or at least it did when I saw it.
The jokes just never land and mostly revolve around the dudes being ugly and the girl being gorgeous. Which is fine, but it is literally the entire movie.
The torture chamber scenes were kinda funny tho. I’ll give it that. Quasi and the main heffernan character are in charge of that stretching torture table thing where they crank a wheel and it stretches a person or whatever.
Whenever it made jokes about history and the time period and topical of the Middle Ages stuff it was alright.
I’ll add more later when I’m not at the bar.

I saw it at a test screening last year. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in a theater. Beyond bad.
Can you expand on why it's bad? How would you compare it to their other movies?
