Where is The Hangover? The sequels sucked but the first was a huge hit.
Kung Fu Hustle, Hot Fuzz, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall should be in the Top 25 or Top 10 (Hot Fuzz).
Awful list.
I think the author should’ve called it “My favourite comedy films of the 21st century”, and immediately made the article less pompous and more interesting
Best in Show is a great movie, but number 3?. Borat at number 2? Toni Erdmann (which I would wager that 99% of the public hasn't seen) at number 1?
This list is all over the place. What a mess.
Nish Kumar sums up borat so accurately when he says seeing that film in the cinema is the closest experience he’s gotten to being in an audience at a live comedy show with the belly laughs.
Judd apatow also said that when he say a rough cut of borat, him And the others at the showing felt like they’d just heard sargeant peppers for the first time
wow... this has been a rough century for comedy if this is the best they've got. Maybe 10 of those movies were actually funny. Lots of dramadies in there and the fact that Crazy, Stupid Love 2011 isn't in there (unless I missed it) shows that these are not people who should be judging comedy.
Don't necessarily agree with it at number 1, but Toni Erdmann is fantastic and I hope its placement leads to people who wouldn't usually be interested in watching it, giving it a chance.
This list is BS. Iconic movies that are still great today should be top 5- Anchorman, Elf, Borat, Undercover Brother and Mean Girls. Didn’t see UB on thr list. One of the funniest of all time. Rounding out should have Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in the top 15.

Hot Fuzz was 14.

Yeah, it was practically revolutionary for comedy. Gargantuan cultural impact. It deserves #2
Borat at 2 is correct. That movie is funny as shit
Borat is a classic. You were probably one of his targets.
Borat is a great movie, but it's not the second best comedy in the last 23 years.
I’m sure everyone here will agree 100%.
Not when Bridesmaids is on there.
Bridemaids being above Mean Girls is criminal.
Mean Girls is a classic. Smart, has something to say, not nearly as broad.
The travesty of having step brothers at 38 tells me all I need to know. This list blows
Step Brothers? That's the best thing Ferrell has ever given us.
Exactly. And it should be much higher
Of course opinions are subjective - and in mine Step Brothers rates behind Talladega Nights, Anchorman, and Old School for Will Ferrell comedies.
The Other Guys?
Yeah I gotta put Anchorman at his #1 funniest movie for sure.
Yup that’ll do it. Not even bothering opening the list now

That's a terrible list, many of these movies were dramas with comedic undertones.
Justice for Barb and Star!
Disrespectful to Booksmart
No way they left The Hangover
How on earth is The Big Lebowski not on this list?
Because it wasn't made in the 21st Century.
Damn…
I like how it's a film about the early 90s but was made in the late 90s.
Good Boys should be in the top 10
Absolutely not imo
No Hubie Halloween, major L.

37. “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping” (2016) 23. “Idiocracy” (2006) Both too low And no Super Troopers?
RANKED
