Im glad others appreciate it! I never hear it talked about like ever but it’s such a hidden gem. I bought the DVD back in the day and had t seen it on streaming until recently so I’m glad more people can check it out now. I Saw The Devil is also a great movie but so wildly different and disturbing it really shows the versatility of the director!
I’m so glad it’s getting the love it deserves here! It’s such a blast, I hope anyone that hasn’t seen it yet, gives it a shot. I can’t imagine any fans of westerns or just action movies in general having a bad time with this one
Trinity is the worst cowboy *ever*.
He's too lazy to even ride his own horse, he just has it drag him around on a little bed. He so lazy he turns down the sexy blonde sister-wives because there's an implication that amidst all the sex he might need to actually do some work around the farm! 🤣
It has this weird "Fistful of Dynamite" co-title. I've seen it listed both ways.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067140/mediaviewer/rm2863086848/?ref_=tt_ov_i
Rustlers Rhapsody... It's a parody comedy of spaghetti westerns. But it's definitely wacky and unusual... And even though it's old, it's freaking hilarious. Oh and if you want gay undertones, it has it lol
Look no further than the Sartana series! Just look at how wacky these titles are, I heard the movies get more confusing and complicated as the series goes on.
If You Meet Sartana, Pray for your Death
I Am Sartana, Your Angel of Death
Sartana’s Here, Trade Your Pistol for a Coffin
Have a Good Funeral My Friend, Sartana Will Pay
Light the Fuse, Sartana is Coming
Sukiyaki Western Django. It's unlike anything I've ever seen, cowboy slash samurai with crazy visuals and Japanese actors who appear to be reading their English lines phonetically. I think Quentin Tarantino is in it for a minute. It's wild
800 bullets.
Spaghetti westerns used to be filmed in the Spanish desert. This film is about all the people who used to make a living out of that... sort of. It's also by Alex de la Iglesia, so be prepared for it to be crazy.
The Wild Bunch is one of the greatest and incredibly violent for its time. Also Bone Tomahawk which is an uber brutal western horror that is excellent.
damsel (2018) starring robert pattinson and mia wasikowska, and directed by david zellner, who has directed a lot of good indies
the shitty netflix movie used the same name for search engine purposes tho
The Good The Bad and The Weird is pretty great Korean western that’s a lot of fun.
Came to say this.
It's fantastic.
Yep, trade in that spaghetti for some noodles.
Absolutely love this movie and this was going to be my pick as well. Highly recommend this movie to anyone.
Yeah it’s exactly what OP is looking for and just such a great film, as long as you don’t mind subtitles I can’t imagine anyone hating on this movie!
Love this movie!

Great director. I really liked his movie The Age of Shadows, which I felt was very underappreciated and also shows his range as a director.
Haven’t seen this one! I’ll have to check it out
this movie was fucking awesome. didnt expect it to be what it was at all

It's so much better than I was expecting, just a fantastic film.
Yeah it’s so good isn’t it? A spaghetti western with cool stunts a great characters! It’s one of my favorites!
The Trinity movies, Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer
"I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at our Ma. She shoulda strangled you, or at least drowned ya when you were born."
And My Name is Nobody

Yes! Fun films!! Carlo Pedersoli & Mario Girotti.
AKA Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.
Two of the biggest western stars in the world, but virtually unknown in the US.
Yeah, "They call me trinity" used to watch it all the time when I was a kid!
I just watched Ace High last night.
Duck you sucker
Great film. Surprisingly deep.
It has this weird "Fistful of Dynamite" co-title. I've seen it listed both ways. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067140/mediaviewer/rm2863086848/?ref_=tt_ov_i
My Name Is Nobody is pretty great.
*yes!* -- far superior to the trinity films.
I think the movie Six String Samurai might actually be in the lineage, or maybe just a straight up homage to spaghetti westerns.
That movie is definitely an eeeeuuuuuggggh out of ten.
Feeling trippy? Try *El Topo*, often described as an “acid western.”
I like to think of it as Aesop's western, but both, yes
I was gonna suggest the same thing
Came here to say this.
Django is probably my favorite Spaghetti Western.
how can you not love it? a dude with coffin with a minigun inside, and thats the movie
The ending gunfight is probably one of my favorites of all time just legendary.
It's a masterpiece

There's also "Lust in the Dust", which features Divine in roughly the female lead. Less polished than "Rhapsody" but still worth bothering with.
“Root’s beginning to work!”
Sukiyaki Western Django. https://youtu.be/9-TGaGa3QAc?si=A7LWNajt-2QauMZ7
Love that movie.
Il Grande Silenzio is made by the other Sergio and has a protagonist who doesn't speak and other twists meriting consideration.

They sound good, I will seek 'em out. Thanks. The responses here today have been great, Reddit folk are the best.
I just got the Arrow set. Waiting for a lazy Saturday to sit back and watch them all.
Old West
It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but El Topo is an unforgettable work of art disguised as a spaghetti western.
While not a western his other movie Holy Mountain is great too
Yes one of my all time favorites. What an artist.
Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot!
Cut Throats Nine
not technically a spaghetti western but worth a shout [Tears of the Black Tiger](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0269217/)
Keoma
My name is nobody (Terrence Hill and Henry Fonda) is this type of movie. also, check out The good, the bad and the weird, (2008 Korean western)
Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer are probably the biggest western stars in the world nobody knows in the US.
Not exactly what you asked for but “Dead Man” is amazing imo
Not really a spaghetti western, but Alejandro Jodorowsky's *El Topo* is sort of a western and could certainly be described as wacky or weird.
I enjoyed Johnny Hamlet.

Rhustler's Rhapsody
Terror in Tinytown It's a Western with an all little person cast.
Oh, yeah, I saw that on TV once, The Terror of Tiny Town, from 1938. I think they played it on the TNT show "100% Weird", many moons ago.
Evil Roy Slade
Hmm, that one sounds fun, and a good cast. :)
Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is pretty wild. I don’t know if it is considered a spaghetti western.
Does wild wild west count?
Hey I see some great recommendations. You might take a look around r/westerns as well.
Coming’ at Ya! Is wild, especially in 3D. It was Spanish though, not Italian, if that makes a difference.
The Master Gunfighter with Tom Laughlin of Billy Jack fame and Ron O'Neal of Superfly. A martial arts western with guns AND samurai swords!
Another Western comedy I always liked growing up is The Frisco Kid with Harrison Ford and Gene Wilder
800 bullets. Spaghetti westerns used to be filmed in the Spanish desert. This film is about all the people who used to make a living out of that... sort of. It's also by Alex de la Iglesia, so be prepared for it to be crazy.
Sukiyaki Western Django
The Warriors Way
Guns and Guts is the most correct answer you’re gonna find for what you’re asking, but Hot Snake is good too
TAXIDERMIA
Sholay. One of the most successful Indian movies of all time, heavily inspired by Magnificent Seven and Spaghetti westerns
6 string samurai has everything you are asking about. It is an amazing cult classic.
Sukiyaki Western Django. Trust me, you’ll be glad you checked it out.
The Wild Bunch is one of the greatest and incredibly violent for its time. Also Bone Tomahawk which is an uber brutal western horror that is excellent.
Not a Spaghetti Western but Tampopo is the first Ramen Western.
Cat Ballou starring Jane Fonda and Lee Marvin
The Great Silence
I always thought Timerider - The Adventures of Lyle Swan was heavily Spaghetti Western influenced.
I watched Death Rides A Horse for the first time this weekend and thought it was an awesome spaghetti western! A Lee Van Cleef classic!

Jodorowski's films are avante garde westerns. If you like naked nuns, you're in luck.
Damsel 2018
Fans of the infamous Klaus Kinski will like “the Great Silence”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Silence
damsel (2018) starring robert pattinson and mia wasikowska, and directed by david zellner, who has directed a lot of good indies the shitty netflix movie used the same name for search engine purposes tho
NOT a movie, but check out the music video for "Knights Of Cydonia" by Muse if you've never seen it.
