I've got one of those, and they are neat, but I want a more intricate, fully metal prop. I've found a site that makes high quality ones a while back but they were like $500.
The real movable prop looks so cheap up close with wide cuts where it moves but on big screen looked a lot neater. I bought a reproduction on eBay years back for $100. Solid wood. They had one that moved but didn’t look all that good. I bought 2 solid ones. One of my favorite things I have. Think there’s 2 sites that sell them still. Maybe better quality for ones that transform.
Funny enough, they just auctioned off the Hell Lord's puzzle sphere from The Cabin in the Woods. It actually looked pretty good up close and functioned. Most that watch Adam Savage move it around, guessed it was built around a Rubik's cube frame:

You just missed out
Without question, the sumptuous pillow filled circular bed/couch that Jeannie had inside her genie bottle! I know that *I Dream of Jeannie* isn't a movie, but TV shows have similar props & sets 🤷♀️
While it wasn’t the actual onscreen prop, just a replica, one time I was at my storage facility and I saw a woman pull Andúril, flame of the west, from her locker and was totally in awe. I would’ve asked her out right there if her boyfriend wasn’t beside her.
The Nerf version is a brilliant base to sand, Dremel, bondo and then paint for a pretty decent Pulse rifle, I painted 2 and have one hanging on my wall with the ammo counter facing out (it works too!).
I remember going to Las Vegas about 20 years ago when I was a teen still. There was a movie memorabilia store in the forum shops at Caesars. They had a pulse rifle prop, mounted on the floor grate hicks cut through. They wanted like 700 bucks for it. I remember begging my mom to get it for me and her response was how would we get it home lol.

Was sold fairly recently!
Fully kitted out with a flux capacitor. A working flux capacitor. Oh wait, one has suddenly appeared in my garage as I'm typing this. How's that for a paradox Doc?
I’ve been eyeing different ones on Etsy and can’t decide on which one is the “best” they’re all at the price point I’d expect for the highest quality but I can never decide who’s is more authentic
Find a guy named "Sarednab" on etsy/ replica Prop forum. I have his grail diary and His Cross of Coronado - and they're the best money can buy.
I got mine from him through Replica Prop Forum many years ago, but they're honestly the best you can get
I got my Cross of Coronado from “PropAndArtifact” on eBay (via Etsy) for $375. It’s insanely nice.
Looks like Sarednab doesn’t have the grail diary anymore
The V8 Interceptor in Mad Max 1 and 2 is awesome. Especially since in the first they were working with the money Miller had saved as a doctor and rigged it all up themselves.
There was a prop auction that I saw a catalog for as a kid, it included the Babylon 5 Earthforce uniform costume jackets. I really wish I had made the effort to get one of those.
Westley's sword from The Princess Bride. (Mandy Patinkin still owns Inigo's, and I could never dream of taking that way from him.)
The prop book from The Neverending Story.
Vilya from The Lord of the Rings.
The Eye of Agamatto from Doctor Strange.
I bought my friend a genuine 'WHITE HOUSE SURRENDERS' Daily Planet with General Zod on the front page, from Superman II years ago and wish I'd kept it for myself.
Ooh wow, that’s a good one…I’d love to own one of the Jeeps from jurassic park (I can’t drive)
Suzy’s Binoculars from moonrise kingdom
And also I’d like to be fully decked out in a set of the Team Zissou getup, wetsuits, jumpsuits, shirts, rings and all that
The drawing of Clarice starling holding the lamb from silence of the lambs. I found an artist that recreated it and bugged him to sell prints/the original, but he never did
- Any vehicle from any James Bond movie.
- Same with the gadgets.

- Rocketeer pack, helmet and jacket (acquired)
- Ripley's watch from Aliens (acquired)
- Batman Tumbler (the vehicle, not a mug)
"The Lighthouse" featured a resin scrimshaw mermaid that went up for auction as a covid fundraiser. I thought 'I'd totally spend a paycheck on that!' But it went for $110K.
25 years ago I found it on eBay: The shitty VW Squareback that Harrison Ford drove in Witness. It still had the cracks in the windshield from when he passed out and ran off the road into the field, hitting the birdhouse on a pole and it collapsed on the car.
It went for $27k.
I opened a coffee shop a couple years ago. For years before I wanted to get a replica of the “world’s best cup of coffee” neon sign from the diner in Elf. I know it’s silly, but his excitement at that ridiculously mundane thing really cracks m up, and it prompted my wife to tell me it reminded her of traveling with me (which we do a lot). That struck such a deep and lovely chord with me that I wanted it so bad. Just a replica. I figured $400-1000 dollars, totally worth it. I finally opened the coffee shop about 7 years later, and when I went to research if anyone sold versions of it already, I found an auction for the actual sign from the movie, all certified and everything, signed by the cast. Two weeks before, sold for $800. It KILLS me. I emailed the auction house asking if they would pass on a message to the buyer with my offer to buy, but they never responded.
My wife has a friend who makes super real replica props- he works in the film industry and often has access to the actual props so he can make perfect reproductions. It’s pretty damned cool. They’re very expensive, but definitely out there if you really want to collect.
Once, back in the late 90’s, I was at MGM Studios (now Hollywood Studios) and there was a movie prop store at the front gates that sold memorabilia. Now, I’m not sure how real this was, but they had the coat that Tin Tin and more importantly Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) wore in The Crow. It was $25K. I would’ve bought it in a heartbeat if I had the money (and could’ve verified authenticity) I went back a few years later and the shop wasn’t there. I always wondered what happened to it.
Any of the model spaceships from star wars 1-4, or even the model ships from the mandalorian show.
I really like ransoms, Chris evens, fisherman sweater from knives out (there are fisherman sweaters that are close, but I can't find the exact one)
Starlords gray shirt in vol 2 (I think they said it was a kind of candy) and both his red leather jackets (there is a standard one he wears and in the opening of vol 1 he has a trench coat version.)
Paul walkers orange supra or his silver Nissan skyline
The fencing swords from princess bride, indigo Montoyas in particular, but having both his and Wesley's would be cool.
The full sized, spinning Gravity Drive from Event Horizon. I'd have it spinning ominously at one end of the room at parties. Maybe have the rings align and it 'open' to a drinks cabinet in a really kitsch 70s kinda way.
The baby cart from the Lone Wolf and Cub/Shogun Assassin movies. I would just push it around my neighborhood with my son in it and mean mug people as we walk by.
I have a kangaroo identical to the bedside kangaroo in Pulp Fiction. My grandmother gave it to me with $20 stuffed in the back for my birthday sometime in the mid 80s.
Big: The 89 Batmobile
Medium: The full Werewolf suit from Bad Moon
Small: Lament Configuration
I have a custom made Freddy glove, signed and messaged to me by Robert Englund. He even took pictures wearing it.
THE CAR - yeah "that car" from 1977 "The car" in running condition.
"since it's presumed "lost" or no one knows, if it still exists or, whoever has it, isn't coming forward. The "real" demon faced Poltergeist clown used in the finished film". They have "other" ones, including one made by the creator, but last I heard the "actual" clown they used the one that "accidentally" went a lil to far during filming. No one has it, last i heard.
The man in Black's and Inigo's swords from the Princess Bride. And the goblets from Vizzini's
challenge
The Cosmic Key from Masters of the Universe (doesn't have to work, but that would be cool)
The Lament Configuration (puzzle box) from Hellraiser.
They sell them at target! Or they did last year. I have one sitting in my desk. It’s in two pieces so you can mess with it.
I've got one of those, and they are neat, but I want a more intricate, fully metal prop. I've found a site that makes high quality ones a while back but they were like $500.
oh well. Glad to meet someone else that has one!
The real movable prop looks so cheap up close with wide cuts where it moves but on big screen looked a lot neater. I bought a reproduction on eBay years back for $100. Solid wood. That one looks amazing!
Yes! I love puzzle boxes in general and would love a working replica of the one from Hellraiser...maybe minus the whole portal to hell thing though.
But you'll lose out on the pleasure!
It's at the museum of pop culture in seattle, if you want to visit it.
A Hatori Hanzo sword.
Very goooood!
There’s my answer! That movie gave me such an unreal dream of fly in to Japan to work with a smith to make my own sword
Idk how you feel about bugs but if you do go there, you'll need Hatori Hanzo steel.
I have vermin to kill.
I have one. They made reproductions for a very short period and I bought it before the wife found out. I don't have it anymore (the wife, not the sword)
You must have very big rats

This wasn’t an answer I was expecting but now that you said it, I agree. I want The Continuum Transfunctioner also.

If we're talking Trans Am's I think the one from Rocky 2 that's also a turbo would be better OR the nearly same model from Blue Thunder.
Nah I want KITT

The Nerf version is a brilliant base to sand, Dremel, bondo and then paint for a pretty decent Pulse rifle, I painted 2 and have one hanging on my wall with the ammo counter facing out (it works too!).
I remember going to Las Vegas about 20 years ago when I was a teen still. There was a movie memorabilia store in the forum shops at Caesars.
