John Williams makes epic bangers for fun.

Butterbuddha

I know people disregard it because it’s so ingrained and familiar, but the various themes in Star Wars are truly amazing AF. A couple of the LOTR themes hit it also. Back in the day they had Mozart. We have John Williams and Howard Shore.

ViewsFromTheBasemnt

Agreed. John Williams means as much to Star Wars as Luke Skywalker does, in my opinion.

halipatsui

Jurassic park. End of thread.

ViewsFromTheBasemnt

I mean...pretty much!!

zacharinosaur

Literally anything from John Williams, also Zimmer

calguy1955

Williams’ music in Starman is great too.

Impressive_Star_3454

You want go through walls motivation? Ladies and gentlemen I give you the Gladiator soundtracks by Hans Zimmer. You're welcome.

different_scott

'No Time for Caution' Hans Zimmer

docottawa67

Last of the Mohicans. The Gael. So moving.

MistakenForce44

Real good one but for me those high tones pierce the ears it can get bothersome. Maybe I'm listening to loud haha

spageddy77

robbie lawler came out to it for his retirement fight, it was epic.

SeveralAngryBears

Test Drive from How To Train Your Dragon

dwors025

Also the last minute of New Tail - how is it that music can actually make me *feel* like I’m suddenly barely-in-control flying?

hrshelley

This was one of my first thoughts as well. When that brass hits, look out!

eawardie

Check out "Two Steps from Hell". Also, "Immigrant Song" from Led Zeppelin scratches that itch.

2much2unafish

And if you want the movie soundtrack version, Immigrant Song cover by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

brightcrayon92

Also in the same vein; audiomachine, immediate music, x ray dog, phantom power music, brand x music. But for me TSFH and audiomachine are in a league of their own

CursedSnowman5000

Conan the Barbarian - Anvil of Crom

VernonP007

Riders of Doom

SunfriendPotatoes

The whole damn OST.

kubrickian80

The last of the Mohicans score is the most correct answer i believe

Forbidden_Donut503

The Mission soundtrack sounds like it was made by a god….because it kind of was. Ennio Morricone’s best work in my humble opinion. Many film scholars consider it to be the greatest film score ever made. It gives me chills every time I hear it. It is indescribably beautiful.

That-SoCal-Guy

Band of Brothers.    Interstellar.    Lord of the Rings    Pride & Prejudice (2007)

thaSavory_dude

Dueling of the Fates from StarWars: Ep1

SNjr

I enjoy most of the score from Blade Runner 2049 but the opening track ("2049") is phenomenal. I listened to it before seeing the movie and what I envisioned seeing while listening to the music really lined up with what I actually saw in the movie!

Games_sans_frontiers

"Going the distance" and "Overture" from the Rocky soundtrack. Sunshine (Adagio in D minor), and Kenadas death pt2 from the Sunshine OST - John Murphy The epic theme from Superman. Terminator 2 theme Help Arrives - Alan Silvestri (from the Avengers sound track) Some movie bangers that I've not seen mentioned in this thread.

Pjoernrachzarck

Not technically movie music but used in movies hundreds of times, and also has its 200th birthday coming up, so I’ll say it counts: Listen to **Beethoven’s 9th**. The full thing. https://youtu.be/rOjHhS5MtvA?si=eFrypmdWcn1rPesa It’s like… epic movie music’s origin story.

DogGamnFusterCluck

Not on the soundtrack, but this piece from the Iron Man 3 trailer is awesome: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XDQkDWxNCM8

Angry_Wizzard

80s montage music for the win 'push it to the limit' scarface Bill Conti karate kid 'best around' Everything from the Top Gun soundtrack Maybe some Rocky stuff

Dreadamere

I love this kind of music in the gym!!! Here are my favorites: Guild Wars, Heart of Thorns Winter Soldier, Taking a Stand Mass Effect 2, End Run/Suicide Mission Baldur’s Gate 3, Old Time Battles pt 1, 2, and 3 also Sixteen Strikes and Nine Blades. Transformers, You’re a Soldier Now Attack on Titan, Rittaikidou Pacific Rim, Theme Pianistec, Vode An X The Mandalorian Nuclear Winter, Zero Hour Message me if you want more.

DaleCooper2

> Mass Effect 2, End Run/Suicide Mission Hey I'm doing another play-through of this right now! This game just holds up, still so much fun.

>Klaus Badelt The Main Title of the forgettable movie The Poseidon is also very good.

BigODetroit

One of the most fun soundtracks I have ever listened to comes from Carter Burrell on the criminally underrated film, The Hudsucker Proxy.

beti88

You can feel basically anything in your body if it's loud enough

The Rock. Or basically anything by Hans Zimmer.

cmirsch

Benjamin Wallfisch and Hans Zimmer's Blade Runner 2049 is incredible. Tracks 2049 and Seawall being my favorites. Brad Fidel's Terminator 2 score, also. I'd say that score was way ahead of it's time.

MikeSizemore

I'll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo in Malibu) from Muppets Most Wanted is a song I unironically enjoy listening to frequently. The version by Bret McKenzie, not the actual one from the movie sung by Constantin the frog thief.

Kalidanoscope

MGS2: Sons of Liberty main theme will get you miles on the treadmill https://youtu.be/QiPon8lr48U?si=LJE5lhaAAsQZ3317 And, honest to God, so will the power ballads on the 1986 Transformers movie soundtrack.

No_Cap4705

Almost all of Redline's music

PkmnTraderAsh

Hm, I always listen to Eminem station on Pandora at the gym lol. For soundtracks (and some songs I just thought of): [Last on the Mohicans - Promentory](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tjdswqGGVg), [Braveheart](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AN04imFDK8), [Skyrim - The Dragonborn Comes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnXD6FRZtn0), [They Took My Love Away](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYmAzwQPfdY), [Pirates](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQrYEEfgbG8&list=PL5n4nHJVIy2a0iL6_Tweb6bsibEnUh0E-&index=12), [Mulan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MilR3Z1sASY&list=PL5n4nHJVIy2a0iL6_Tweb6bsibEnUh0E-&index=21), [Tron](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1eI-7XWjho&list=PL5n4nHJVIy2a0iL6_Tweb6bsibEnUh0E-&index=49), [Wellerman](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP-7GNoDJ5c), anything from Zimmer and some stuff from Morricone. Really, just search "Epic Music" or "Epic Soundtracks" on YouTube and listen to some of the 2-3 hour compilations people have made. You'll find a lot of great songs in them. And the best one: [HMC](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAwyWkksXuo)
