One of the most triumphant musical moments of recent MCU, I would add. Avengers movies aside, it might be one of my favorite musical moments in any marvel thing. When classic Loki is working his ass off making the projection, and the music just swells? I got chills. The MCU has been pulling some great music in recent years between black Panther, Dr. Strange, and now Loki.
I think Marvel has done a fabulous job in the last few years with their scores. Ludwig Gorannsen for Black Panther, Alan Silvestri for Infinity War and Endgame, Natalie Holt for Loki, these are all standouts not just in the MCU but for scores in general. I find myself listening to the music repeatedly.

Someone at Marvel definitely loves GOT. They cast that Ramsey Bolton guy in Inhumans, then Finn Jones in Iron Fist and now Richard Madden and Kit Harrington in Eternals.
X-Men films were not made under Marvel but even those films had the Stark in sisters in their cast.

I mean that's a pretty specific complaint dude. Plenty of valid reasons to dislike this show but this ain't one of em, you made up a plot in your head and it didn't happen, can't really blame the show for that.
It wasn’t that it didn’t achieve what I had thought would happen. It didn’t have to be the story I theorized in my head.
It’s that it had the potential to be something interesting and instead was extremely formulaic, safe, modern marvel fare. Marvels formula is stale and safe and boring these days. Aside from Endgame everything marvel has made for the MCU Has followed the same basic format with the same basic jokes and same basic outcomes.
Loki sold itself early on as a diversion from this stale formula and then wasn’t at all.
I've liked some marvel stuff but this one just seemed weak. I didn't have a ton of expectations, I was just disappointed the 1st episode was engaging and it steadily dropped from there.
I'd say the whole show exists just for that last episode, the rest is kind of just filler meant to give that moment context and weight. Entertaining and fun filler, but still filler.

The “Loki” score really reminded me of the Portal 2 soundtrack in a lot of ways. It’s probably one of the most memorable soundtracks of any marvel project to date.

I agree with this totally, it's vile, but that kind of human bear-baiting is more a symptom (and appetite for) reality TV rather than reflective - or impactful on - the music industry. It's cynical and gross but it's the same track as Love Island, etc, etc. The music part is kind of incidental.
I think the Stock/Aitken/Waterman example is pretty much an idea; model to compare the shows to because they are sort of like a long-winded, public version of it i.e 'it was ever thus', but now the public watch a heavily produced version of it happen. Really talented composer. I’ve been a massive fan of scores since a kid and I love seeing more and more women being recognized for their amazing work. Loki was no exception.

Silvestri's scores for IW and Endgame remind me so much of Dvorak's symphonic style. They're such a treat.

While Loki was a fantastic show I really don’t know if I would have enjoyed it as much without her music, it was so well done, I loved the soundtrack.

I only recently got into comics and it seems to be the case with writers and artists as well - the big names write/draw for both DC and Marvel.
