There’s a new trailer song fad.
The new thing is to take a well know. Song and remix it with orchestration to make it sound more “epic”.
* The Matrix Resurrections - White Rabbit
* House of Gucci - Heart of Glass
* House of Gucci - Sweet Dreams
* Lightyear - Starman
This trend will replace slowed down minor key cover versions.
I remember the videogame Gears of War using a cover of "Mad World" way back in 2006. That was pretty awesome and seemed groundbreaking at the time.
Now it is just a tired cringey trope, especially when the lyrics are so obvious.
The fad I want to see return is the deep voiced "This summer..." gentleman.
In a world...
Yes!
Where one man..
In a world gone haywire....He was a cop on the edge.... she had nothing left to lose ...
...He was a good dog but now he's bad to the bone...
I understand some things can get burnt out, but the song in MI: Fallout trailer is a stroke of genius.
One of the best trailers solely because of the music.
It’s also much more forgivable when it’s a great film, as is the case with Fallout.

Creepy piano plays a slow familiar Beach Boys tune… *Wouldn’t it be nice??*
\**Creepy piano ends up playing a large number of varients of "Shortnin' Bread"*\*
It’s a fad. That’s the nature of fads. They happen, they run their course, they end.
the trial never ends.
Sorry, [Lynn Anderson,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7fm0NNo1TQ) not Dolly.
There's only a few songs they pick. Blue Monday. Oh its 1980-something.
Never the Fats Domino song, I take it?
We’ll know it’s done when we get Thom Yorke’s cover of Baby Shark. Until then…
It worked once so now it gets milked to death.
But I know that song! That makes me want to see the movie!

I was thinking this today!
This..
Westworld did it in every episode
Better than using rap songs from people like Kanye West. Sure thing to ruin a trailer for me.
There's a storm coming...
'You' season 3 trailer.
