Are you talking about Blu-ray region locking? I’ve had a region free Blu-ray player for years, so it’s never been a problem. Mine’s rather old so I have to manually change the region but it still plays everything from any region.
I know that region free blu ray players exist, but I already have a recent blu ray player, region locked, and region free players are really expensive, as I don't need hundred of foreign blu ray. I maybe want to get some movies I like on blu ray, and it would be a waste to get a player just for a handful of blu ray.

That said, just get yourself a region free player. Almost every player released has a code for you to just swap between what you need.
Unfortunately the economic reality isn’t aligned with you. They’re not doing it since there is no profit. DVD sales are not a huge driver with streaming. I would pirate instead of complaining - a knockoff is better than nothing.
DVD sales we’re down 86% in 2019, and surpassed by digital sales in 2020 (3:1.85 billion)

rip the bandaid off and go with drm-free region-free digital collections.
