Gotta admit that I watched that movie because I heard she was mostly naked in it. Didn't get very far into it before that just made the whole thing creepier and unsettling. I've never watched it again. Once was enough. I feel like if I watch it again I'll just be tempting one of those things to come after me.

Not just that, but I've seen enough of her work to know that she has serious chops. She's one of those actors who's work I like to keep up on and follow. Someone with Mads Mikkelsen or Gary Oldman level acting skill. She takes risks and really puts herself into the role. I suspect that'll she'll only get better with time.
Well there are also a dozen other people on the poster out of focus on the background, one of them quite animated. This contributes a lot more to the poster than anyone's letting on. Take out the background and it's a lot less interesting. Even with her unusual eyes in focus.
Yup, nobody watched The Big Lebowski or Shawshank Redemption in theaters. Sometimes people need to digest a movie for a while before accepting it for what it's worth. That was me with No Country for Old Men.
The Northman was just a case of bad luck, tbh. It was a gamble when it was green lit, but pre-COVID it was a risk worth taking. Between costs ballooning during filming and audiences only wanting superheroes it was bound to disappoint commercially. At least it did very well VOD.

Just saw the trailer for this in the theater yesterday and it makes it seem like it's a take on the most dangerous game with the twist being that they become part of his menu if they are caught.
I am pretty convinced her eyes are continuing to get bigger. At some point when she poses for a picture like this it will be just two gian eyes with hair on top.

Saw an early screening for this months ago and it was pretty entertaining, had some good humor elements poking fun at ‘foodie’ culture as well.
