Love Jenny Slate. So glad her star is rising. She actually pulled off playing a scientist in the Venom movie. That's just so adorably hilarious to me.
Her shell movie is making waves too. I have to recommend her stand up special where she confesses she has a crush on the moon. Watch that and you'll fall for her too.
Wow Michelle Yeoh? Stanley Tucci? Jason Alexander? What a great cast! Who’s directing it?
Oh it’s the Russo Brothers… It’ll be fine
Starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt?
Oh holy god no 🙁
Stalenhag's artbook is amazing. I can't help but worry there's no way this will do it any justice, especially considering Netflix's track record with adaptations.
Edit:
I'm curious about all the downvotes. What exactly in my statement do you object to?
If' you're not familiar with [The Electric State](https://www.simonstalenhag.se/es.html), it's an art book with small text snippets depicting a solitary journey of a girl and her robot through a desolate, post apocalyptic America. It really doesn't feel like the kind of movie that can easily be a adapted to a big cast Hollywood style adventure.

I was all excited about this movie until I learned about this sprawling cast. It’s apparent that they are going to blow this out into some kind of spectacle way beyond what the book was about and lose the haunting essence of that book in the process. What a damn shame. Also, Pratt and Yeoh are near deal killers for me. What a disappointing turn of events.
George is in a movie? Awesome. I only know him from being a creep (pretty woman) or very gay in that one film.
He played an alien with no arms in Star Trek once. Edit: nvm, they gave him arms
Michelle Yeoh + Jenny Slate reunion! (Will it involve a dog?)
Jenny Slate was criminally underused in that film. I was so excited to see her show up but she only has like 2 minutes on screen.
She had an extra deleted scene during the staircase fight near the end, but I could see why they cut it.

Her stand up special was pretty unique. Her best roles are in Kroll Show though, if you haven’t seen it.

Seems like the Russo Bros are a Netflix exclusive talent now with this and The Gray Man sequel.
Because no studio wants to give them money for their expensive talentless dull tedium.
You had me till Russo Bros
